Wea are working on a system, where the game saves progress more periodically and before certain actions are taken more reliably. This should fix the issue ?

We will try and notice if anything like this happens in our tests, but yeah, difficult to pinpoint for sure.

The designers are working on a way of implementing this but will take some time.

We are looking into it and figuring out, if we could somehow "gift" specific people (who deleted their game by mistake) another Protective Barrier. Will let you know. Thank you for the feedback and very sorry for the inconvenience ?

So the cave not appearing is probably a bug and we'll be looking into it ? If you could provide us with the map with the missing cave, then that would be awesome @handofthesly ?

Not receiving a Protective Barrier again is nit an issue, but as designed, because otherwise players could set up a PB on a MP map, then restart, get a new one and still have the old one on the MP map. Because of this and other reasons though we are reworking the whole barrier system and should ve changed in the next couple of updates. Definitely on the next Major update (not the upcoming Goodie Pack) there should be a change already addressing this.

I think even with more "mature" content, if you warn the player in advance, it should be fine. I wouldn't go completely over the top with mature concepts, especially sexual and vulgar content, but with proper warning certain leeway on our part is expected.

So probably in one of the Pirate encounters, but we're not totally sure ?

Sorry to hear this is happening We haven't experienced this yet, but could you maybe send us a video of this happening, so we have more of a idea, when this is happening? Also do you have a controller plugged to your computer, because that sometimes messes with the controls of the game.
