How long does it take planted seeds to grow and cut trees to respawn?

Does the ground repair itself and do more mining nodes spawn?

[Smooth water when terraforming?]

Hi is there a way to smooth water when terraforming? I was building on an island and really messed up my shoreline. I am trying to make it look remotely attractive but am making things worse with every click. Thanks

Hi I am new to Ylands and came across a locked wooden chest. I was unable to open it. I did find a golden key but it wouldn't unlock the chest. How would one go about opening  a locked chest? Also what would a golden key be for?
