    Velocifer's Workshop

Hehehe, thank you very much! I would love to! You too, keep it up
  2. Nice! I would like to see the progress for sure. Seeing your ship makes me want to play n make new ship again. Incase you were wondering what I made: https://ylands.com/community/topic/9494-velocifers-workshop/?do=findComment&comment=41782
  3. Awesome, I see you put alot of details at the stern there. Would be more awesome if you put more details at side of the bow. Cheers fellow ship builder!
  4. Hey there, been long time since my last suggestion. Since I don't have much time playing Ylands game recently, I spend my spare time only on Ylands forum. I've noticed something is missing, when you look at your own profile you see "About Me" tab, and when you look at others, it doesn't show up.. or I can't find it anywhere on their profile. As if I understand correctly, the "About Me" tab is used to introduce yourself to "stranger" who look at your profile and want to know more about you without the needs to ask/post about it but since it doesn't show up, it doesn't have meaning. For example: As you can see, there is "About Me" tab beside Activity when you look at your own profile (in this case it's mine). And here for example, you can't see it. Am I blind or it's on the setting somewhere? or the web designer forgot to put it there? I know it's small thing, maybe just maybe when you guys have spare time to add it, that would be wonderful. *Edit* Sorry I have used your profile as an example @YadNiMonde
  5. Only the account owner who can see their "About me", not others. That's what I'm trying to say. I'm confused how to explain it.. oh well the point is, I can't see yours. Mine is same as @Christalle. In case you're wondering, it's my current "About me" (about a week ago I edited it): I'm really sorry for late reply.

    Beginners Cottage

Nice one, I like the "hermit" style of your house. Yeah it will looks awesome in arctic, but I think it also will looks awesome in thick woodland. Looks cozy with all that natural colors/materials. Oh yeah, almost forgot. Welcome to Ylands Community, have fun and don't be shy!
  7. I mean just by jumping into the "hole". I think the current collision box is good enough, we just need to make higher ceiling. It's better for moving around in 3rd person camera too. Note: just in case, "square" I said above isn't x2 , I mean the blocks high.

Ylands -- Let's leave it a good review!

I think, it's better to put your "honest review" out there. Because it can drives the developer to do better since Ylands is still under development. NOTE: You should update your review until the game is fully released! *Good honest review needs to be as detailed as possible, not just 'This game is sucks'

    Multiplayer issues

@Ane Is it like summary of multiplayer bugs? or it should be new bug that discovered in 0.10 multiplayer? because most of the time we will directly create a bug report in new post. For me, my multiplayer issue is still same as DM I sent to you before, 'teleported around when on the ship' . Because it hasn't fixed yet and I can't find a way to avoid this very issue, always get this issue no matter what multiplayer server I'm in. I have noticed though, when I press 'jump', my character will update the current position and it will minimize the chance you get tossed overboard when moving on the deck.
  13. Based on my experience, sometimes offline character on deck will move slightly (and offline character can't swim that good), especially if someone drove it. Same thing happened to my friend, he was offline on our ship, and I drove the ship around the world. And yeah, if I remember correctly he spawn at starter island too. About the anchored ship, maybe server restart will fix the issue. Good luck and be patient, polishing state is on the way.

    RESOLVED Black Screen

Alright, somehow the issue is solved. When black screen at the start, the game is trying to log On your account, if it happens again later, check your connection. Maybe it's temporarily not stable. Have fun!

    RESOLVED Black Screen

hmmh, I can't find any particular error message from your log files. @Lpt101 How long did you wait that black screen? because from your log, it seems like you did force close. If you crash with error notification, you will have crash.dmp and error.log. Please upload those file here, it's located in: C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\LocalLow\Bohemia Interactive\Ylands\Crashes Note: You need to enable show hidden folder setting in order to see AppData folder

    Visual Scripting - Introduction

awesome! Happy MeGic guys! *MeGic is gaMe loGic, we need catchy name for that *
  17. Hey I've been making various kind of NPC last week, I have question. How to make player interaction with NPC become Talk instead of Trade? I can't find it in NPC properties, if I remember correctly before 0.10 there is option in NPC properties to change that, am I remembering something that doesn't exist? or it's not in NPC properties? I mean this right click interaction with NPC, by default it's Trade, but I want it to just Talk Thanks for anykind of help, really appreciated it.

    Another funny screenshot thread...

"Just login, and realized that you're doomed.."

I think the Visual Scripting could use...

That is good suggestion I am taking a note. Yess please.. This is very useful to make journal for quest list in my opinion. Since I think there is nothing ingame that could write journal-like for quest list, player often forgot what should they do. I like that stylish cat btw @Rudy.cz, hahahaha
  21. I've been playing for sometimes in Official Server with my buddy Yadni. Since I live in the future and Yadni live in yesterday (time wise) , so we rarely meet. When I was lonely and feel bored because I already have end game stuff, this thing just strike my mind. So I decided to build it (well sculpt might be right word), here is what I got so far: "I need like 4000 or so gravel to make it this big... and the ratio between stone chunk and gravel is 1:1" "It's australopithecus skull, you know 'stand-straight monkey' that close to Homo species" "Well yeah, I didn't plan to make it like australopithecus. At first I want to make skull island but then the mouth is too 'mongong' (is that an english word?) Ah well 'forward-mouth' thats what I mean. So it become australopithecus.. " "And yeah waiting the right weather and moment is hard and boring. I want to take a picture when it's thunder storm, but it rarely happen in temperate biome. So yeah, instead I got foggy and snowy"

    When you're lonely and powerful

hahaha, I will try to continue it as far as possible (before the server get reset, because we have issue going on). And lets see the result.
  23. @Ane Sorry for late reply, I just did play Ylands and go back to starting island, and exploring a bit there then suddenly my FPS keeps going down to literally 1 FPS. I usually got like 25-40 FPS in normal condition, my machine is 5-6 years old and considered as potato to current newest technology but it support directX 11 and it shouldn't constantly goes to 1 FPS.. And remember that I'm not the only one that experienced it, @YadNiMonde has i7 4GHz and nvidia gtx 1080, he got the same problem. Ok back to what I experienced when exploring starting island in EU4. After a minute flying around above starting island, my FPS is already on 5 FPS, I keep pushing forward and looking around to see what actually happened (from player perspective). A minute later my FPS already reach 1 FPS and as you might guess it feels like power point (you know that sliding office software ). Well I didn't stop just there, I keep flying around for little bit longer, and along the coast I noticed something weird. There is nothing there along the coast.. literally nothing, no grass, no tree, no bushes, not even a single seashell. It looks like its been wiped by strongest typhoon human ever seen.. Whats left is only on the center of the starting island. Take a look on some pictures I gathered in 1 FPS(ingame FPS counter said 2, but Steam counter said 1 ): And then I found something even more strange thing that happened.. "Hmmh, what are you? Are you ok there bud? Looks like you're missing something.. " After I think thats enough, I tried to fly back to my ship at the middle of sea (I did intentionally park my ship there). Strange enough, I though I'm far from starting island already, but my FPS keeps locking on 1 FPS.. I guess, I need to relogin or restart my game after this. Take a look picture bellow, thats where I'm, my camera is facing to where the starting island located. And here my log files: output_log_clean.txt output_log.txt I wish I can give you more information, but that's all I have from player perspective. How about ask one of your tester to take a look there? I guess nothing wrong to do 5 minutes visit.. P.S: Please let me know, if you can't see the pictures or something. Thanks
  24. I found like 3-4 NPC in a world, but all of them are normal ones, like NPC that standby at good looking structure. Nice to know there are unique and more useful ones
  25. hmmh thats because you reach minimal high of the ceiling when going down. It's 4 square high when you going down and when you going up it's 5 square high, as far as I knew you need atleast 5-6 square high. However you can bypass this limit (atleast 4 square high) by jumping into that hole(or what ever it's (hall way, door, windows). Have fun!
