i got it to work. apparantley i missplaced a coma or something somewhere. also i had 3 ylandsDS.exe running in my TaskManager i got a lot of help from the P1 guys. his name in this forum is RedEagle, give him some love <3

If you setup the Config file and ini file correctly, it should work.
Otherwise if its flat out refusing connection, then possibly a firewall issue.
Hmm strange i can open them on my mobile? later this day i will put them in a reply.
Anyhow as far as i can see i did the right thing. I will upload my DsConfig.json and Ylands.ini file also later so that maybe someone sees whats wrong

so i got the files and setup to make my own dedicated server and for what i can see i did everything like it should, whenever i start the server using line:start "" "D:\yds\Ylands\YlandsDs.exe" -logfile "%CD%\log.txt" -nographics -batchmode
i get this error in the monitor screen: Failed to establish connection with the server instanceSo i know it creates the log files and thats where i could see what things go wrong so i upload those with this topic. does any of you had this before? and can you see what i did wrong?

Every time friends and I start playing in a multiplayer europe server, the next day we log in everything is gone? Why is this? why are the servers constantly reset? in this way you cant make progress?

Thanks. for now its not a MAJOR probleme. i mean i can give him the resources to build, and he can still build.
I still have acces to all his chests and stuff, and with a key that he gave me i can enter the doors and stuff. But it would be easier to have a Tribal/Clan system
Hope the dev's see this

So what i noticed is that when i am playing with a friend, i cant edit in his protective barrier.
Normally this is a good thing, but we WANT to be able to edit and place in each other barriers.
This because we just want to work together en build a nice base.
Would'nt it be helpful to make a system so you can add players as friends or as Tribal/Clan mates so that you can work together inside one barrier? that way you can make multiple bases on more islands also.Or simply a system where you can chose who may edit and who cant edit.

since update 0.7 we cant take over logics from editor mode to the single player explore files.. this really sucks!
since I want to use logics in my server and have more than 8 ylands in the server (creating a terrain in ylands only give the ability to generate 5 ylands..) so I have to use an single player explore file to play on the server with multiple people. but than again I cant use logics in the editor mode
before the update you could save a logic as a composition and load it in the explore file and it would work.
I need really need those logics for in the server! I want to build teleport to each yland so I can help people who are stuck or don't have resources anymore.
so please either bring back those logics or make a command for admins so that we can teleport to people ( e.g: /tp ''yourusername'' ''targetplayer'' )
