  1. While attempting to swap some movement controls around, sprint/walk/dodge/defend, I've run into an issue that I can't fix in game. Every time I try to set a keybinding to what I want, the game claims there's a conflict. The default setting for sprint and dodge is shift. The game is now telling me setting both to Ctrl is a conflict and I can only set one or the other. Furthuremore, I also can not set these commands back to their original. When setting them back to shift there's conflict, and when pressing the reset button on any of them, conflicts. I now have to choose between either dodging or sprinting, or suffer redundantly having to use an additional separate keybinding to do so. Is this intended? I've basically screwed up the whole movement page's commands before I realized what was happening. The gif I made visualizes the issue, and you can extrapolate it to other things like walk (mount) causing same conflicts. Uninstall didn't fix. If the file is stored somewhere on my computer I couldn't find it, but deleting that may reset them all. I don't even want to mess with controls anymore now cause I'm scared. I just want to play the game the default way again.

  3. Hey dear fellas! I wanted to build some Wicker Basket for a Blueprint i bought. I already know the recipe but i craft it from Sticks and Rope. But i need to craft it from bamboo and Rope for it to work. I had some issues already with cases like that. missing some recipes even tho i know how to work em or got the materials. Is there a workaround? do you mind fixing that stuff? Waiting for this fix since a year now...
  4. On a ship, if you have a wall, window, etc. and you have your chests, boxes, wheel, etc. anything really near a wall you can use, you can access it through said wall or window. I have recalled, respawned, turn on and off build mode...issue still persists and its one every ship I have built. I am unsure if this issue is the same on land. Attached are small snips of the issue. This issue is probably keeping many away from going to MP game maps, I know that it is keeping me from going.
  5. I was making a new blueprint on my dedicated blueprinting map and when i loaded the captured blueprint, some of the blocks appeared on the centre of the map...and stayed there... I tried loading in a couple other blueprints and this happened with every one of them. Now there is a mashup of a bunch of blueprints in the middle of my map 😂 None of the blocks can be annihilated so i'm gonna try if they are removable with the editor. A while ago i also saw this happening on an exploration map but kind of ignored it. So you guys might already be aware of this.   6. This isn't the first time I saw this bug. The first was an atlantean ruin encounter with the crablins running off into the ocean. This time however I took a picture. The encounter is the tents with the guys wearing zirconium armor. There is a little sarcophougus with temple armor, and there is a double barreled revolver and a few other things to be found in the encounter. Anyhow all 5 of the NPC's just walked straight into the ocean in a straight line. enclosed the output logs. This pic is underwater output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt
  7. Hi There, The amount of wooden blocks which can be created from a log seems incorrect. So is the number of blocks 2*2*2 equal to the number of 1*1*1. This way it's cost less logs to create floor of 4*4*1 than when I create the same floor with 1*1*1. In the example included you can see that despite the size, the amount of blocks which can be created is the same. Please safe (my) planet from deforestation ;-). Kind regards, Rob
  8. I have been playing the game for quite some time and one difference I noticed between the Microsoft version and the steam version was what happens when you lower resolution. If I go below 1280x720 I get black bars on the side. In microsoft version I could still play lower resolution full screen by clicking the windowed mode and maximizing the window....however steam does not allow you to maximize the window like microsoft version does. Are there any plans to allow a full screen mode for lower resolution? I usually only turn the resolution down to increase game performance on maps that have a lot of builds or too many entities. This would be quite helpful for game performance in those types of game maps. I just dislike not being able to see things full screen, and I won't be giving up my steam version for microsoft because exploration DLC is not available on that format. Thanks for any consideration in fixing this small suggestion.
  9. @jar.janca said there was a bug with the drops for mutated wolves and golems in a cave on an island of temperate biome, and they gave a Piece of Metal instead of Ylandium Dust. The next island, they dropped the normal loot.
  10. In new Exploration on my home map, I attached a couple goats, horses, and sheep to some animal pens in a blueprint-constructed barn, and 2 minutes later, they were gone. I could no longer see them attached to the animal pen (seeing the animals themselves, or within the animal pen menu, or within the animal section of the radial menu). I also had some chopped down trees (wood, resin, etc) laying around nearby if that could have caused lag, or something. I tried to tame some new animals, and it wouldn't let me pick up the bait. It just said failed. I did not think to get output logs for this. I tried restarting the game, hoping they would reappear but they didn't. I then rode some other animals into the barn without attaching them to an animal pen. Two of them also disappeared around the time I tamed 2 sheep and I grabbed the output logs. These last three seemed to be more stable and haven't disappeared yet. The goat had been ridden into the barn, but I left the two sheep outside. output_log_clean.txt output_log.txt
  11. If I try to set the owner of an animal to an NPC (something that worked in 1.4), it does not work in 1.5: Poor Santa, no more deer for him.
  12. I know having an option to remove them was mentioned by several people, but is this a new "feature" to have no gravestones? ?
  13. The slider for Scale doesn't work when selecting multiple game logics (melee effect, particle effect, or particle template), but typing in the value still works. This makes me think it is an error and not working as intended. You can also use the Scale button in the top left corner (not shown in the video). The items don't need to be grouped to have the error.
  14. I play Ylands on an iPad Air 2 that is on iOS 13.5.1 and I can’t play any games. I’m able to download games but it does not finish loading. I’ve checked that it is on the newest version but it still doesn’t load no matter what.
  15. When I try raycasting to the ground from a distance greater than ~200 units from the player, the terrain doesn't "exist" and does not allow me to me to find the hit position. This is quite inconvenient since I would like to spawn random area's of interest that the player can encounter in a randomly generated world. (However to do so I need to place them on ground, and not water)
  16. Hello. I'm having problems to initiate the game for a few months now... Before, the message was "FAILED TO COMPLETE BACKEND REQUEST" in the loading screen. Now the game doesn't even open: Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed I have Dx 12 and AMD RADEON RX 570, already updated to 20.1.1.   17. For some reason using the logic comparison get name of active item while holding a stone pick, does not let us do the comparison with the string "Stone Pick"
  18. If you go to object properties for "paper" and change the text, in game when reading the paper it will show that text on paper However I tried doing the same thing with a Book A-B-C gardening and when I tried reading the book, nothing happened (no book UI pop up, or anything).
  19. Is there a way to change/move/set the Trigger Zone's position? I try use set the Logic mod position, but it's not work on Trigger Zone. Just ask, for now, the alternative way is delete the first Trigger, and enable the second Trigger. Thanks.
  20. I'm running Windows 10, 32GB RAM, Dell 7020 Optiplex. I've removed, rebooted, and reinstalled the game, i have the latest drivers for my card. It's a completely clean install. Don't know why it crashes, i've added both log files. I don't know Unity lingo so i can't translate the crash. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

  22. some of my workshop models with old logic are not blocked and others that do not contain logic yes. In any case I intend to replace them all so it is not necessary to change them I will erase them at some time. But maybe they want to review if they have blocked something else by mistake
  23. I have a second scenario folder inside the first one with more scenarios, why is is this? could it cause problems?
