RESOLVED [YLD-16300] ON READING event does not trigger

For books, and for papers (set to unique) with text on them, the ON READING event does not trigger at all. This is true for the event available within the entity, as well as the Event Listener event. -
RESOLVED [YLD-16314] boat gets stuck ..reversing will not help ...

When a boat hits a shoal it gets really stuck! reversing will not help, and when you dig it out ...even though there's nothing in contact with the hull, it must still be caught in the collision field because the boat will not move. The boat will move like its free, ie bob up and down in the waves ..but refuses to move. We had to use another bat to help push a stuck boat free,...and when it was finally moved , the area underneath it had been really dug out deep, but it still wouldn't move. No log file taken, this is an easy to reproduce bug / thing / whatever -
RESOLVED [YLD-15989] Editor Bug - Saving Composition

If you store a composition and try to type the name, hotkeys will still be active. For example, typing "Igor" will result in my character toggling Character Mode [O] and force exiting out of the Store composition mode. HOWEVER, if you type the description first, it will prevent the hotkey bug from happening. -
RESOLVED [YLD-14159] editor freezes when cancelling selecting a colour

Hey When I click on a colour block in a script to edit the colour and then i press cancel my screen freezes, i cant select deselect blocks ect i can only interact with the editor UI, what i usually do is just click edit script and then everything goes back to normal -
If you have two or more of the same item and each is dyed a different colour, then multiple issues arise. You cannot place both into the same chest. The first goes in okay, but the second attempts to replace the first but also remains in your inventory. Once that happens, neither the real item or ghost item can be removed from the inventory - either by placing in the world or by putting into a different chest. Relogging fixes the inventory desynch, but also deletes one of the items. to reproduce, get two bricks and paint one, say, blue and the other red. The blue one can be put in a chest without issue, but when you try to put the red one into the same chest the red goes in and the blue returns to your inventory. At that point, even though the red is in the chest, you have both blue and red in your inventory and they are stuck there. After relogging, both are gone, leaving just the red in the chest and the blue lost. i transfer items by right clicking, but I think this also happens when dragging.

I used to be able to put a basket, torch or Lantern, on a raft or small boat. Now I can't put any place a bowl on a raft, even in free place mode. This has happened on every server I joined, would like to know if others have this problem too. -
Our sharks have decided to keep out of the air. I have seen them onland but that's not completely new. Recently, the other animals have taken to the air. It seems that they do drop from the sky as you move toward them. Often getting stuck in trees. This seems to be new since 0.11

RESOLVED [YLD-13473] When I try to get in a bed, "Failed" is all I see. I cannot lay down.

I can craft and place beds without a problem. The issue is that once I place them, I cannot lay down. I don't want to have to start a new game because of this. All of this coincidentally started after I died on my ship, during the night. -

Several times when releasing ship helm ... the screen goes olive green and all you see is a bald head... after a few clicks with escape or another action...you return ..and sometimes the water surrounding you disappears. usually it comes back after a movement around ..but today it did not... screenshots and logs attached output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt -
RESOLVED [YLD-13448] Multiplayer maps not remaining in active games window

We have two servers, each with an identical map. When you choose one, or the other, the active games window will only show one, not the other. It can be found in MPLobby, but it does not stay persistent in the Active games window. We have tried renaming one map, but still same issue. Thank you. output_log_clean.txt output_log.txt -

RESOLVED [YLD-12073] Entity Names don't output to Player Log?

I don't know if this is really an error. It just seems strange to me... While playing with the logic, I decided to build a quick test to see how long it takes in-game for some of the plants to grow. It's fairly simple, with timer triggers to check the Entity Name and compare it to a previous answer. If it changes, the new name and Game Hour are assembled into a single string, which is then pushed into an array to wait for output to the Player Log (under Debug) at the end of the test. The logic works fine, and it captures everything I want it to, EXCEPT when I output the items in the array to the log, the entity names are not there. Instead I see text like this: ^EntityPrototype=105.Name$ When I noticed this, I added a command to output to the Console at the same time as it outputs to the log. The Console shows the actual names, but the log does not. What confuses me about it is that I'm expecting them to be string values, already assembled and set to a specific value. They're stored in an array until I pull a lever to output them, but the contents seem to depend on where I'm outputting. That seems strange. For my specific uses here, that is not a problem because I am more interested in the times that were logged. Changing "Get Name" to "Get Type" gives something more readable, but this is still kind of strange. As I said, I would have expected the stored string values to be more solidly defined. I'm attaching my scenario, as well as a sample of the Player Log. I changed one of the 3 "plots" back to "Get Name" for the sake of showing the difference. It is "Plot 1" (the one at far left). RESOLVED [YLD-11625] Save file not uploading correctly

So my friend and I play in co op with sharegame. When we quit the game, it says 'saving in process' and 'uploading sharegame data' like below: This I can see till 85% and then this screen comes up, and can't see above that percent: But if I re-enter the same game just even 5 seconds later the game asks this: If I click 'Yes' it resumes from where I left. Even if my partner enters, nothing is wrong. But if I click 'No' it resumes from the last time I quit the game and it saved, like nothing is saved in cloud after I started playing this session. PS: Internet is really good, so no problem with uploading stuff and if a dev need anything I can help it out. Also if anybody else face same issue please free to comment below. -
While using the cube on admin duties ie cleaning up etc, the cube sometimes "fails" ... already we have the hearts go to red...also its possible to drown and recently near a predator there was the warning music and i started to lose health. My kiln and forge keep disappearing as i try to interact with them. They reappear after a rejoin. Its frustrating when you load a workstation, and as you feed it wood it disappears. You come back after a rejoin and its there, so you light it.... then it disappears again, so you have to rejoin to see it and get your crafted items out. The items do not appear in inventory when you open a chest to put the freshly crafted items inside. You have to close the chest, open and close inventory, then open the chest and then you can move them inside the chest. Its an intermittent bug. Then there's some items in your inventory that refuse to move to the chest / container ..the number 'might" increase in the container slot, but the item shows as still in inventory, and soon you get the "inventory full" message although there's plenty of empty slots. And it can happen in reverse ..but if you break the container the "stuck" item falls on the ground. Log files are attached for you to wonder at and wave incense laden candles over while chanting the magic mantra "sdnalY" and hopping on one foot facing a full moon... output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

RESOLVED [YLD-2765] Right-click/Equip doesn't always work

I've noticed on numerous occasions that using right-click/equip from your inventory doesn't always work. The item you equip to the hotbar slot 0 briefly appears in the avatars hand and then disappears quickly, slot 1 (bare hands) stays active. This usually results in me punching things I didn't intend on punching. In this example I pick up some tall grass, open my inventory and right-click on my iron shovel, the shovel shows briefly but my active hotbar selection stays as slot 1 bare hands instead of changing to slot 0. Note that the icon for my shovel is still in the hotbar in slot 0 where it should be, it just doesn't get selected after equipping it from the inventory. This has also happened when taking item from chests and then trying to equip another item but I can't quite figure out what might cause this to happen. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt -

Exploring caves with weapons ready .. so you stop and light a campfire as a guidance beacon .. then re arm ...and the weapon is invisible! Others see it but you don't...and it then behaves the same for everything you take from inventory can hold! ...and it persists after leaving the cave ...a rejoin purges it. but hard to tell when attacked by a mutant alpha in a cave if you are holding a sword...or a piece of roasted meat! Others can see what you are holding .. but you cannot! screenshot attached ..i caught a fish ...and noooo ------------- its not a fisherman's' exaggeration of the size of the one that got away, but i am supposedly holding a fish! I had just returned from cave exploring and the invisible things in hand occurred and persisted ----..even after sailing home and steering a ship. would be fun if everything turned to gold instead - like King Midas Logs attached ... and they are visible edited to add.. even though item is invisible in hand , it still functions as a weapon..tool ...food etc output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt -
Hello, Today I noticed that the healing wounds ability is not really working. I have made a sorrel poultice, which usually works at a slower rate but none of my hearts gained any healing. Then I created normal band aids but those did not move my hearts either. I also ate various items, which use to slowly move your hearts back up, but still nothing. Not sure if this is a healing wound issue or heart update issue. Nikki

What's up with the crazy memory leak and huge fps drops this is just making it unplayable . the fps just drops from 50-60 down to 1fps its not just now and then its every few minutes for me and who i'm trying to play with. and even if i try single player its just the same. hapens in the editor as well. and my game was up to 10+gb of memory usage and most the time its running at 7-8gb. YES I KNOW THIS A Early Access Game and i have played a lot of them they are full of bugs and things to be fixed but Ylands is just at the point of being unplayable to play with friends and even on my own im hoping a nice dev if there is any on here would like to help. my set up Processor: Intel Core i7 memory 16GB graphics GTX 970 -
RESOLVED [YLD-8976] Trading with Craftsman Potions

We all know the devs don’t want us using craftsman potions, but programming the NPCs to steal them... really! Seriously, I have been using them as currency - at a value of 1100 pebbles that is much more valuable than drinking them - and I noticed that if you have several in your inventory and trade just one of them, they can all disappear. This can happen even if they are kept in a potion belt (or crate). This doesn’t seem to happen with any of the other potions, and if you trade 2 or more different potions it depends which you move into the sell slot first - put in a craftsman potion THEN say a glow potion and your other craftsman potions will be safe. Put in the craftsman potion last and they can all disappear. I have not had it happen with any other items. -

When a composition is shared in the workshop, the composition of the editor is eliminated. Personally I have no problem with this since I always have a lot of copies everywhere but it can be annoying to have to create the composicon again after uploading it to the workshop. I have also noticed that when trying to eliminate a large number of entities they can be duplicated and these duplicates can only be eliminated one by one. sometimes it is necessary to restart to be able to eliminate them in the editor -

If you open a container while in one of your containers in your inventory like the herb bag , seed box , soil box etc and transfer one of your items to the container content window on top of an item it transfers the item no matter what it is. eg: Stone,tools,food, etc -

I was playing in MP on a dedicated server, I played about 6 hours, the textures of the animals appeared in black, and when the resources were clicked, they did not appear until I started the game. if you throw objects from the inventory the same thing happens. I have to say that I had never had this happen to me. I restart game -

output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt I had something weird happen. I was pulling up to Honey Chicken's house on Foobar's MP server. I was having lag, so my character could only walk, not run. I had her anchor her ship. I sat her down on the deck, and closed the program so I could log back on to fix the lag. During the log in, it stalled, but I heard her die. When I finally got logged in, she was on an island that did not look like the island I had been at. It was a different biome. I circled the island and my ship and the person's base I was trying to visit were nowhere. My character spawned with all of her stuff still in inventory, but nothing in the toolbar. I ended up building a raft, and trying to find the island my ship is on. I found another island, also not the one I was looking for. I died. When I respawned all I had was my map and keys. I have no idea where, or where my loot is. I am still trying to find the raft I used to get there. I have no idea how to get back to anything familiar, since the map doesn't work in MP. I am hoping the admin can find me. I don't know how to get back.
