  1. As soon as I activate the piston hammer half of the screen gets black (and flickers).
  2. So I used to play this game ALOT and I had recently gone on holiday for a while so I couldn't really play nearly as much. When I came back I noticed a few updates had been released and I tried to update them, thats when I had realised It was stuck on downloading game binaries. Could anyone help me out?   3. Hello, Rotating a block which I'm about to place in the editor using the F button makes the camera move, usually towards the placed block I have selected. It's not always doing that. Rotating the block with the K button (same direction) doesn't show this behaviour. Adrie output_log.txt
  4. There's a problem in creative mode with 2 table lamps: The smallest one is not visible in the item list. If you place the lamp that looks like a man holding the lamp, you randomly get the one with the man holding the lamp or the smallest kind of table lamp. Steps to reproduce: 1. Go into creative mode 2. Place a few of those table lamps that look like a person holding a ball. Severity: Minor - Does not prevent game play. Repeatable: Always
  5. When placing a bamboo chest in the editor the chest starts to make weird noises, it sounds like a very strong wind. After about 15 seconds the sounds stop. Deleting the chest before the end of the sound, the sound still continues to play. I've tried different chests, rotations, ways of placing, but it only happens with the bamboo chest.   6. My friend and I were playing multiplayer (non dedicated) and we encountered a weird glitch/bug. When he tried to harvest wood from a tree, I would get the sound effect as well plus the message "Inventory full", while neither our inventories were actually full.   9. Hello! I've been working on setting up a server for public and friends. Which works fine (port forwarded and all).. But the problem is that when I launch the Server Monitor I can no longer launch the game on the same computer. I also tried nosingleinstance as a target parameter, but that changed nothing. Is there any known work-around? -EDIT; I assume it has something to do of the fact that the sever monitor is also called ylands.exe (?) DePemy

  11. Hello, Just wanted to start by saying this is a fantastic game and the fact that all the devs are so responsive to issues on here is awesome! Really makes me glad to support your company. Anyways, unfortunately I ran into an issue today when trying to play. I logged in and my character did not seem to be saved properly. It looks like it reset to a default character (no clothes/hats/etc.) I had also been hosting a multiplayer game and when I log in to that I don't have any of the items, neither inventory nor action bar, or crafting recipes that I had when I last logged off. Other players can log in successfully and they seem to have all of their items still. I ran into an issue with loading games yesterday so I tried deleting the BadLoadBackup folder (a solution recommended on the forums) and that seemed to work, as far as loading goes. Not sure if that could have caused this issue, as I logged in and out a few times yesterday without issue and this just started happening today, but figured it was worth mentioning.   12. So, when I get into the main menu, none of the menu buttons work so I can't play. Haven't seen this bug anywhere so apologies if this has already been answered. The input area when you start the game by pressing play ang shift is showing a whole bunch of joystick inputs but if thats the problem, i haven't got the slightest clue which ones to change. Any ideas?
  13. Was on a multiplayer with a friend and was riding back to our boat with my tamed horse. All of a sudden my horse back stepped and pushed me in the water and I couldn't stop. I tried to relog on the game and it keeps showing "Not Responding" now. Any help on this please?
  14. I was playing multiplayer with a friend, and I planted a lot (and i mean a lot of grass seeds, like 100+) all in one single spot, placed a few away from the whole bunch. When i finished i tried to walk into those planted seeds and fell through the floor. Don't know what caused it, probably because my friend who hosted the match wasnt near me so it didnt load the flloor, but i disconnected and reconnected and feel through it again when i passed by.

    RESOLVED Shadow (i presume) bug

    Hello everyone, I wanted to play on a map i made on the "Editor" section. Problem is, when i'm on my map created with Editor, i have a king of "shadow bug". What's that shadow bug ? When it's the day, every shadow are vibrating when i move my character. When it's the night, i've something like black flash (all the screen), when i move the character or the camera. (Edit) It happens only if i put more than 1 land in the map. I tried windowed version, low details, low shadow, etc. Any idea ? Thanks, Teal'c.   16. So, sleeping in a bamboo sleeping pad on a ship out at sea at anchor seems to be ok. Sleeping on a moving ship crashes the game, frozen screen, boooo. Loading screen crashes at "loading oceans", have to CTRL/ALT/DEL to get out Very sad I just built my mining tool

    RESOLVED Server scroll doesn't work

    So i was trying to join my friend when i realized that the servers appear alphabetically and that he named his beginning with F so that will be down the list, but there is no way to scroll and the search bar function doesn't work
  19. So i start the game and perma stuck in this view with no button ( already try switch off antivirus and play as administrator) nothing change? Someone can help ?
  20. When clicking the login button on ylands.net and choosing to sign in with google it gets stuck at connecting for a few minutes then gives a "502 Bad Gateway -nginx" error. When going back to the site and clicking login it says connecting for a minute then it will give you the same error. I have tried it on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Clearing cookies doesn't fix it.

    I bought the game got the set up file and download it with no issues and then after installing the launcher and clicking on it it pops up on the dash then disappears nothing actually happens.     RESOLVED Multiplayer raft

    I know people have asked for a submarine but I believe the raft shouldn't be one When placing the raft on a dedicated server it immediately went to the bottom like a stone. EDIT: Further analysis has shown that the floating capabilities of boats and ships are also not what they used to be.

  25. Wenn using the bow (draw it to shoot) and than dropping it while the rope is pulled this happens: This is a static position cant switch gear/tools anymore, and wen forced manually (in the inventory moving stuff around) you get the error of the boat......
