Hi, I tried searching for a way to change my in-game name but I didn't find any so I post this request on this forum. I installed the game and first launched it while i was with friends at home and they had the "amazing" idea to block my actual nickname which contains the n-word. Of course it was not my intention to put that nickname on my character and i want to know if it's possible to change it as "Nebus" or "N3bus". I also think that the possibility to change the character name more than one time could be a nice feature !

Hello! I tried searching for a way to change my in-game name and apparently the only way to do this is creating a topic here in the forums. It would be very useful if you were able to do this in game more than once (maybe once every x days?). I set my name to "SirVolpe" back when the game launched because I thought I was creating a character name and would like to change it to "Volpe", "VolpeBR" or "VolpeDasFuchs" if possible. Also on the character topic, I tend to roleplay in-game a lot so a way to create characters that show their name in game instead of your account name could be very useful for that!

are you planning to make a joint game mode from your phone and computer?

This might be a longshot question..... A few months back @jchob rented a server in exploration. He named it Locust and it became a glorious experiment. The players that came there pushed the server to it's absolute limits. There were hundreds of buildings....and yes, lots of lag in places LOL My question is this Jchob missed the server rental fee by one day, and all was supposedly lost....but is it? Could it be possible the map and all it's structures is stored somewhere??? He looked everywhere in his files to find the saved game, but it was also gone so he could not restore the server and the map. So....my question is, does Bohemia have that file somewhere in the cloud? Is it possible to bring the map back to exploration? Can anybody there send the map game file (including all the buildings) to @jchob so he can bring this amazing place back? There are a few people that would be happy to contribute to the server fee if there is a way to restore that map and all of it's amazing buildings. If not....then can it be possible in the future to save these efforts? I mean....can the owner of the map can save the file just in case another calamity such as this occurs?

Like the title said. I really like the improvement we got in update 7.0 but the streams still bug me and I know that a lot of people feel the same way. I think we should remove them completely unless we're holding the linker.

Discovered a glitch when trying to remove an animal pen after tamed animals have been assigned to it. To reproduce: Place an animal pen. Assign an animal to it. Try to break the animal pen. Effect: Once the placement timer reaches 0, it turns to infinite, or "INF." and the player can milk it for infinite wood or grass rope.

I was working on my ship and went to break, of all things, a "bamboo" block.....after 50+ hits, with an axe and hammer i gave up. Demolition hammer....makes my guy shake his head at me. The one thing that should do this, is completely useless. Why was this issue not fixed.....on day TWO? I mean, this issue should not "exist", at all, even accidentally. Bambo, maybe 3 - 7 hits and it should be destroyed. I love this game but these are problems that should have been LONG ago solved. For the most part, this game is great....but this....a nightmare. And i was in the build mode where the ship was only to be built or removing parts on.

Hello since the new update I went back to my camp on explore mode and everything has been erased. Since i was not surpised and motivated i made another one. The only thing is i've been playing for at least 3h and i have not seen the sun rise up once ... Any Help please?

I've found that, any time I want to explore an island without having to deal with predators or enemies, I simply get a horse. They won't react to your presense at all, until you dismount. ...and can we PLEASE fix the horse AI so they're not crowding around the player as if it's a celebrity autograph session? That's so irritating I've started killing them.

Hi guys, I don't know if this is a local issue that I'm experiencing. I've tried to access the Ylands Workshop site on both my Laptop and my Mobile and on both occasions I'm met with the same infinite loading screen. Is there something wrong with the Workshop or is my potato laptop and phone playing up?

Hi I would like to have the ability to easily calibrate the "throw entity" logic in-game. I've spent about 30 minutes (and not done!) trying to get consistent results using an arrow and it's a nightmare

Since 0.15 my server does not appear in the multiplayer lobby. To find it, players have to search. It has kept my game largely pristine, but I know there are good players looking for a place to play. My steam name is bbcakes.

There is a very VERY annoying bug where when I open the script editor, as soon as I try to create a sound I get a electric noise in the background that won't go away. It sounds like a tesla coil idle or something or ylandium generator. As soon as I click off it, it goes away. It's super hard to pick sounds with its in the background.

I think that food isn't that valuable. If you are hungry in game you can just place down sleeping pad and sleep and your stomach will be full. That makes sleeping over powered. If that was to be removed we will need to find more food. It would be even better to get more hungry if you sleep because then skipping nights will not be free. I think that will make game more balanced.

I totally dig the dye station to recolor stuff. However there is one huge limitation that also doesn't make sense. The dye station unlocks some time into the game. Usually players already have constructed a (small) shed/house. And the only way you can recolor and customize your house is by breaking it down, recreate the items and paint them before building the house up again. It is also kind of not making sense as I have repainted the walls in my house a few times, and none of the time I had to deconstruct my bed room completely. So my suggestion is to create a low tier paint brush that can be used to paint stuff in the world and use the dye station to paint stuff in your inventory opening clothing dying and mass dying of building materials.

Hey, it would be great to rename directly ingame an item (not in editor). To rename a chest, barrel, and so on ... (storage items)

I have been playing around with editor again for couple days. Looking at my structures and I want to repaint it but to repaint it, I need to apply the color on each block which is "too much to do". I'm speaking about hundreds to thousand of objects (blocks, etc). Would be really nice if we can repaint grouped objects to single color with 1 click. So we can repaint those objects with ease and fast. That's it, if you guys have something in mind related to repaint or painting in general, feel free to post below. So after playing the game for 2 days now, there are at least two main suggestions for you guys. One, I'd love to be able to see my hands/tools while in first person! And, second, being able to look a full 180 degrees from 90 degrees up to 90 degrees down would be fantastic! As of right now, you are only able to look down and up at about 150 degrees and it deters most people from playing in only first person. As well as not being able to see first hand what tool you are using. Implementing this would highly increase the immersion of the game. It makes you feel like you are completely in control of your character where as at the moment you constantly have to switch between 3rd and 1st person, making it feel like you're controlling some random avatar (which you are, but immersion is key). Any feedback on this would be great! Whether you are going to implement this eventually or reasons why you are not.

For the 2nd time this evening i went to start up my Yland explorer map, for the 2nd time i had someone joining in while i did not start to "host" a game trew the MP menu. 1st time Zuuluu entered my "server", and the 2nd time WJ joined in (a trail player) and i asked if he/she could see me on the MP list and said that is how he/she joined, he/she asked if she could take some good, fine by me but leave a bit behind so i don't get without supplies (food and tools), he/she emptied my chest as far as possible and took off, not knowing here "body" would stay in the server with all the goods killed the player and got my stuff back

Hi, If I exit the game the map you can make with parchment disappears, if you make a new map all the previous map info has disappeared. Is this meant to happen or a bug?

Hello, The furnace doesnt work or im doing something bad ? I do the iron craft, light it but the timer stay blocked at 1 min and nothing happen Help !

I feel that the iron tools break too fast. When building my house, I felt that I spent more time remaking tools then actually building. I haven't accurately counted, but it seems that my saws break after making the 10th beam. Then I have to stop, go to my storage, get a stick, get some heated iron, if I dont have heated iron, fire up the forge, wait a min to get the heated iron, hold on another min to make the tool. If the tools are going to break so often, then I suggest we have the ability to make them on the fly. Maybe require a tinkering kit in your pack to craft tools? As long as you have the tinkering kit, iron bars, and wood in your pack, we could make tools on the fly.

Every time I want to create new Yland, I have to create myself a new character. It's a little annoying for me because I play everytime as the same character. And I don't think I'm the only one who have one favorite character. So what about customizable character presets in the character creation menu? I made a little picture as example
