Multiple issues etc on NA15...

Question

It might be because we had 6/7 players but   NA 15  was  ..and still is ..a  disaster.

1)  Trees disappearing when  chopped down Alsop previously  chopped   tress when chopped .. the logs etc  disappear .. they re appear after a  re join

2) Waves of  players  that are headless   wearing black undies....   and no visible  name.  again a rejoin  fixes it ...for a while   then they revert to headles     etc.

3) inventory ...crafted items   not appearing in inventory ..but do after a rejopin

4) a charging station disappeared after  crafting    ..but was there      upon ( another) rejoin  (sigh)

5) Items  removed  form a chest  to inventory  appear in  inventory and image  remains in chest ...( until after a rejoin...sigh!)

6) Keys  show a door as locked  but    others  can unlock the door... we had a griefer  raid a  House and fortunately  we caught  him in the act and stopped  him( with a headshot)  ..he was stealing  ranged weapons we had  stored, and that would  be a disaster   according to his behavior

7) unable to feed from items in inventory!

8)   screen freezes,  time outs,  black starry  screens...   lock up.s  ... i had to rejoin at least  12 times ...others  fared  no better    in fact  some  just gave up!

9)you name  it   we  got it!   ..seems as though the servers  are not ready for  7   players ...and they  deteriorate  with usage.

 We pray to the  almighty  BI gods  that a miracle  occurs with 0.9...    and things work ...

PS   as i type   this  people  are giving  up on NA15  its  obviously  at that stage  where the BI  servers   fall over and  cannot hack it.

ohh  well  here we go again..

Call us the server killers.  This one remained stable a little longer than others likely because we weren't sailing much.  So discouraging to try to build things when you have to start from scratch every few days.

adding the  following"  we were flooded with people  joining  who arrived and  stood around , creating  lag,  ( a deliberate  griefing  crew? ) As a result  when one of the active players  crashed because of the lag, the griefer could  take advantage of them being offline, especially if  you were  halfway through a task etc. If you were locking a door,  it would show as locked but it wasn.t...  you were actually in  some sort of limbo where you could not interact with things..

The  MP  thing has to be optimized...although its better than  it was, its a long way  from being  desirable

The server has been restarted, hope that helps with the issues that were happening!

Still so laggy.  It seems like it can't handle a full eight people on at once, all the dead bodies and buildings.

Holding out for 0.9  I may just not play til it gets released.

I don't know that this is true.  But let's face it, there are a lot more stressors on multiplayer vs single player.
