Blocks with dark and light sides to them

Question

Would it be possible to label the sides of the blocks with a D and an L to indicate dark and light sides in build mode? Certain blocks have these light and dark sides..... after placement these indicators would obviously not be visible. Thank you.

Or get rid of the transparency on "to place" blocks.  Just highlighting the edges should be plenty enough info.

Couldn't it be because of the light reflected off the block (depending on the position of the sun)?

It happened to me too, it took me ages to find out that it was actually the orientation of the blocks that was causing the color change. It seems to mostly be the plastic blocks but it was also like that before the update.Ylands_181127_183936.thumb.png.893b133be2fb73678f5e608cb7cc7923.png

In the picture are two completely white plastic blocks with different orientation

That happens in most blocks. normally the difference in hue is between the bottom and the top

This has been an issue for a while. No, it's not the light and shadow side of the block...it's not lighting effects. There's clearly a dark and light side. Also, even if it's the "back" and the "front" of a block, why not label it so while in build mode? That way we can align the dark/light sides correctly.

Right, so label it "Light/dark" or "Bottom" Top" Something that tells us which is which, in build mode it's hard to make out the texture or the slight color variation until it's placed.
