It is super annoying to accidentally pick up your own carpets.

Oh sweet stars, yes.  I must have done that a dozen times in the last few days alone.   Maybe a sort of keyless or one-key-for-all lock, so that if you -do- want to move the item at some time you can, but don't accidentally do so every time you go to open the door...

  2. Other uses for leather: tipis, yurts.

Birch bark baskets would be fun.  I thought of those as soon as I saw that it was specifically "birch bark" rather than just plain "bark".

More domesticated, or able to be domesticated animals would be good, and because I like to give devs real nightmares, make them breedable?  I'd like to see sheep.  Wool, with the occasional hide and mutton to keep the herd size manageable.  And the wool could bring... an ugly sweater contest! =grins, runs=  Just kidding... maybe.

Oh, and more to do with corn.  You currently can't roast it as a vegetable, or grind it to corn meal/flour.  And with corn meal, you can have corn bread, muffins... grits/polenta?   Even if we could just make popcorn, to eat while while watching possible future events.

  3. I'm up for all of the above, though if you have kitchen counters,  cabinets (lower and upper) would be nice as well.  Possibly a "fridge" just for the look of things.

Definitely adding my vote for scaffolding.  I thought I was going to be one piece shy of finishing my castle, only to plunge from the roof to my death!

=chuckles= My Steam account profile is "old gamer broad".    This is a game I'd love introducing to my grandson (almost 6 - dear gods!), though he'd probably want to bring in the Ark dinos.

Each game is going to be different.  If it is not violent enough for you - or too violent, find another game.  Upset you paid for it?  Sorry.  I have a number of games purchased over the years that later sat gathering dust, because they didn't turn out to be what I wanted.  It happens.  You move on.  Because while the devs do well to listen to the voices of the players, they also have to keep to their own overall vision.

Ylands is not "Lego". It's not Minecraft.  It's not Ark, or PUBG.   It is, and can only be, Ylands.

  5. I love this concept!  My husband and I do something similar on an ARK server, calling them "waystations".  Ours are fully enclosed, but that's because -that- game tends to over-spawn critters that find players to be quite tasty.  Glad to see someone else had a similar idea here, and when I finally decide to dip my toes into the online Ylands, I'll definitely stop by!
