  1. Issue was caused by insufficient memory (4GB) and game was not able to handle that. With passing years game updated to newer version of unity engine and many new features were added thus we had to increase the memory minimum requirements.  There were some memory leaks (most of them are fixed between 1.6 and 1.8). There is still one memory leak from this issue (when you travel between two islands repeatedly not every memory info about is cleared properly) but it was reduced significantly (right now you will add 100MB per 10 minutes if you are constantly moving between two ylands it was almost 800MB before). So to summarize there is still room for optimization, but mentioned issues are no longer that severe.

  2. Should be fixed for a long time now. To clarify it can still happen if you have unfinished blueprint in proximity area (it is considered weld and preventing collision during building thus designed behavior). Finishing blueprint will fix it.

  3. To clarify yes, you can do it on a ship which is not anchored. (ship is moving and to synchronize everything perfectly especially in MP would cost so much performance that game would be unplayable especially with big ships). Ships are now automatically anchored when player leaves them (since 2.1) so it should not be a security issue any longer.
