Make a sandbox inside editor, when you are done with the scenario and are ready to play, (don't forget to save) hit enter then type /exportlocal.

Then go to all games, use the tabs to sort for your local games, then click on the game you want.  It will open and you can create a game from the scenario. After you have played it, and you want to get back in to play at a later date, you will find it in recent games.

You are awesome.  I finally got it to work, after I restarted Ylands it was showing up.  Thank you!

Yes, you have to tape /exportlocal or /localexport in chat, it will creat a save that you can play in "all games , local saves"

I did try that but the game doesn't seem to be accessible in my version of Ylands.  Only the option to add a server or rent a server comes up.  Perhaps I'm missing something.

  3. welcome to Ylands Malaka135.  . I am also new to the game (although I knew about it in early access) but recently got into the game since it was free on Steam.  My ingame name is TinkerTim.  I like open world games and had hoped my daughter would enjoy playing Ylands in multiplayer, since she is a big Minecraft fan and I am not.  I am loving Ylands except the mini games are more kiddish IMO.   Also, would like to see sharks, seagulls and first person return.

You can address this in editor. But you have to know that you can. And you have to know how.  The kid who gets this game for Christmas and just fires it up, is going to get disillusioned real fast. And is going to give s bad review and tell all his friends not to waste their time.

agreed.  as an adult newbie myself I have found the game and editor great fun  and to experiment with.  The kiddy art style will attract kids to the game until they notice there is a learning curve (especially with game scripting in editor) which is okay for adults but will probably turn off the younger kids.
