Should I just make my area bigger or start a project on a new island or.... What is it that people are doing with this device?

Last night the game kicked me out and I got a message that there was maintenance being performed. I came back today and my rifle and all the bullets are gone - nothing else. No, it wasn't in my hands. Plus, I now have a broken barrier generator. My original is still in place and in working order. I fear that after a LOT of time and labor my game will blow up and I will lose all of my progress.

Excellent.... and if I were to lose this key?

Does this then mean that anyone with a key could unlock my door?

I figured out how to lock the anchor lever on my boat but I don't know how to lock the doors of my house or any other door.

Pick axe and shovel are the only digging tools? Not complaining, just need to know.

So I built a boat and sailed for a long long time and never saw land. I sailed as long as I could until I realized that if I didn't turn around and go back to my island that I would run out of food and starve. While still sailing I decided to stop playing as it was getting late and I had had enough fun for one day. When I came back the next day I was treading water in the middle of the ocean where my boat used to be. I summonsed my boat and my raft came so I paddled home and have not seen my boat ever since. What happened?

In exploration mode? Can they chop down my trees or pick all my cotton?

So if I set it to multi player and it will allow ten people in does this then mean that ten random people could potentially stumble onto my island and that they could steal my boat if I dont have it locked?
