    After i build the blacksmith and several things at the blacksmith, i can't go to the crafting menu at all. everytime I click the crafting menu ... game ist freezing instantly now. i don't need to scoll down anymore. So, there are other recipes causing problems too.

    perhaps, it's like someone else said... perhaps it's a hardware-conflict. :S

     

    PS.:

    game is freezing in other situation too. once, while digging, two times while trying to pick up a bamboostick (never tried again later). Seams like the game is freezing more often, the futher the progress goes. Now, my last savegame, where i played hours and hours... i can't do anything more, becourse, i can't craft anything now. And without any pick, axe or shovel... i can't even collect materials or build the terrain. And Yes. The game is freezing in the creative-mode as well. :/

     

    Yea i have found that more recipes = more frequent crashing and the faster i type to search recipes causes the game to crash/freeze on me.

    Didn't work... now I have 2 saved games that are unplayable.

    You have a lot more faith than me. They've known about it for almost a week now. They released an update today that fixed one bug, one that wasn't even game-breaking. I'd rather restart on the first island every time I die than, ya know.. not even be able to play the game. 

    Yea i dont know why i have this much faith its like stranded deep with coop it never came out xD

    Yea im taking a little break until it is fixed because it occurs around the same point of progress in the game which is ashame but im sure they will find a fix soon :)

It may very well be tied to one of the large ship/mast recipes, as trying to create the mast has been near impossible for me, and although I did crash before trying to build it, it was probably after I unlocked the recipe (not that I would know, since you never get an indication when you unlock any recipe...)

    edit: In case I wasn't clear, this crash renders the game literally unplayable. I can't stay in the crafting panel for any length of time without a crash now. 

    Is it this severe for the rest of you?

    Yea I get somewhat set on my first island but once the basics are unlocked the game struggles with the crafting menu :(
