I worked around it by using the editor to create an item with the logic objects that I needed, saving it as a composition and then placing it in my savegame using the editor.

[Custom Creations]

I figured it out. Select every piece of the custom ship, then right click on it and click "Save Composition". You can then place it in any new game using the editor and the "Composition" tab on the top right.

[From Editor to Survival]

You should have two versions of this save game in the menu. An "editor" version that has a gear/settings icon on the top right corner and your normal save. You're loading the wrong one. Try the one without the gear/settings icon. 

[Logic Objects]

If I use the editor to edit an existing game (this instance an explorer mode game), I do not have the ability to view or create any logic objects. They simply do not appear and the option to create new ones is missing.

Is this normal when editing an existing game?

I apologize if this has been asked previously but I couldn't find an answer.

If I create a custom ship within the editor, is there a way I could import it/use it in any new explorer games I started?
