placing a log and picking it back up worked. I had been building on the ship with beam and small blocks, not logs.

this fixed it for me as well but it is still a bug that was not there before. however the devs did fix the first person view pushing the boat around...though created a new bug in the process. imo it's a less annoying bug so i call it a improvement.

It's about you can sink a ship with two cannon shots in multiplayer, from miles away. Which takes like 3 second.
Naval combat is way too fast and limited to sniping with a cannon from distance, to two shot anybody.
It wastes a lot of fun opportunity for boarding, sniping down cannons for disarming, etc. Approaching somebody with that intentions, would just end up sinking yourself due to dieing in two shots.

Can't you just armor the ship?

Placed a computer on my ship while at sea, computer disappeared and ship can't turn anymore. I've gone in the save editor and the ship's entity box is massive, so I'm guessing the computer teleported stupidly far away, but I can't even find it by flying in the editor. Losing 6 hours of progress is not very encouraging.

OMG! this exact thing happened to me yesterday. I came here just now to see if anyone else had this problem. Worse yet is that it is a common spawn at sea so many people are likely to encounter this bug.
