Is it possible to change the spawn point in explore games? When exploring other ylands it's frustrating to die and get transported all the way back to the original spawn point.

It does. I died while flying over a yland and it lost power and I fell. Not sure how to determine how much power it has left as I haven't messed with it since.

I'm finding myself ignoring the map more and more when sailing and instead just using the birds. Once you have found most of the ylands you can use the birds to navigate from one to the other easier than constantly consulting the map.

I've been wanting to explore more underwater as well but not sure where to start. Were you able to notice anything above water that tipped you off to the location? I might have to just craft a bunch of water potions and start looking.

I've been having trouble finding coal as well. Been to about 8 ylands and have not found it yet. Although I searched some of them rather quickly. Looks like I'll be heading back to the mountain yland with spruce trees based on these replies. Thanks for the screen shots! Also good to hear I'm not the only one going crazy trying to find coal

Alternatively you can break the mutated bones by selecting them in your inventory rather than dropping them. As far a the crystals it took a while and a few ylands but I finally found a cave with them in it. Now if I could just find some coal and gold
