Wooden Chest - What am I missing?

I've spent some time trying to figure this out, to no avail.   How do you make this darn thing?

Is the wooden chest made in your inventory or in somewhere else?

I have 60 nails, 30 wooden planks and a stone hammer.  Isn't that all I need?

What am I missing?

Going to restart game just in case.

you have everything needed so sometimes you need to restart the game. Also sometimes you can bounce to your inventory and back and it will be there. Also check out the wiki for ylands. It tells you everything you need for stuff and what things are used for.    Ylands Wiki
