  1. Also note that very possibly removing/moving .ycp files from Steam and placing them in another folder can make your saved composition disappear from the Ylands's composition menu.  Suggest you keep your composition saved on at least one extra editor landscape in case you have to re-create-save-composition it again and/or keep more than one named version.

  2. When I tried to package a Composition (house) for the first time to share it I discovered we Steam users are not getting our files stored in the documents folder.  Instead it paths to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\415409451\298610\remote\Share\Compositions

Yland team may not be able to change the way Steam runs Yland but you can place special instructions on your website or an in game help menu to help Steam users understand we have to do things differently.

I think the only thing that can stop you is your internet connection. I would advise not to place a massive amount of compositions into one map since the game isn't really optimized to handle tons of data yet... I mean if you have 8 gig video and 32 gig ram you might not have issues right away.

    Yeah, about that... TOO LATE

  4. Would like to see a faster pan so I can view my island creation quicker.  It becomes very hard to create larger maps because it takes so long to slowly glide along to check your entire island.

    Great work!  Love this game!

Btw, I have NOT run into any game bugs so far.  All play has been manageable.  *knock on wood*  :D

  5. I got into Canada!

I found the work-around-solution.  There is a menu in Ylands where you can actually see if any server you have been in is actively running.  That helps a lot but of course there is not a way to see if the worlds are active when you try to join for the first time.  Perhaps a more frequent refresh is needed in that menu (my video #02).

Here is a video of the menu that does show current server status:

I have public checked in the check box.  I have not yet tried to join anyone's private server(s).

It is happening all night.  I started gaming at 10pm Chicago Illinois central time.  It happens all night up until 3am Chicago IL USA central time.

Now it is 10am CST that I tried again and the game simply did not load this time.  It works for anything except joining Multiservers.

I ran my own server without any problems so I do not think it is an internet connection issue.

I still have problems joining other people's PUBLIC servers, here is a vid of what I see on my end of the servers.  When I tried to join the game did not load.  I am using my newer PC Asus only for Ylands now.

Trying to join multiplayer results in expulsion from the server.  I can run my own world but no one joined, do not know if that is because no one tried.  I can join a world and see other players in it for a brief time then I'm kicked.  Tried different worlds/servers.  Tried on two different pc's (listed above).  I can play a solo world fine also.   Only running into problems if trying to join another player's world.
