    i believe they expect the game to be the base for other games, so that they would make "game modes" aka "mods" that would be actual game, but the idea is that other players would make these mods later

    i mean hitting tree with your torch and burning down entire forest, as well as your cozy wooden house i mean making a stick road from bottom of the mountain up to it's peak to make a beautiful olympic torch i mean putting logs into a shape a burning them to make them visible from above i mean burning a living pig to scare of big animals i mean the usual kind of fire

    what people look at when deciding whether or not but the game is how frequent updates are, that's the detail that should not be overlooked. why? here's quick example: last patch was on second week of summer and you screwed the "take all button", so players would forced not only to spam clicks to craft stuff, but also pick it one by one, it becomes way worse in multiplayer because of lags, and how fast did you fix it? you did not. i'll bring a bunch of friends to play with me and will find more games to play inside this game after it becomes playable, but now i specifically tell them to stay away from it

    well then, i am really concerned about lag (both from large amount of objects and how bad player positioning works in mp) not being first in your list, but you all get enough feedback on that i'm sure

    yes, the feature is certainly missing. no idea how to smooth the road down in explore mode
  13. so i watched some shad link here and i think that this kind of snapping triangles and squares is great for building, because for now you can make squared structures, 8 sided or 12 or 16 sided, but that's not enough to make good builds, because you can't properly make walls that are not the same blocks, for example you can't make 8 / 12 / 16 sided tower wider or narrower without awkward free placing blocks that overlap each other

    @Denderion if scripts in editor can capture objects like players, then you can do it, because i know they can move objects already. no idea how to say "mortality shmortality" though

    so, ugh, i kinda don't like new hud in game: you don't see what happens in the world anymore (both esc and tab), while menu was not changed in size (buttons and icons), it only spread out to sides of screen leaving unnecessary space between that does nothing. i mean, do i miss how that can be good? or even that's just me who likes to see world around while in menu? edit1: when game flickers at loading games in list cursor vanishes from the game. too bad we have no keyboard controls lol edit2: i still teleport while playing with someone who sits next to me to the point of frustration (nothing changed). also can't ctrl+move items to my inventory, only from (it moves whole stack, so that didn't change too) edit3: i still can eat stuff if switch fast enough and also can plant infinite amount of plants with 2 seeds. lantern still have effects that is seen though higher layers of hud edit4: this problem with linking

    actually we were transporting horses with us and it was semi-successful, we were using them a lot and sometimes when we need to adjust them, they decide to drown. another time it happened ship went all the way down to the bottom of the ocean and, after horse came off the ship and started standing there without any thoughts about swimming up to surface, ship just went up flying and landed back after reached approximately 2 times height of it's sails

    good fighting system without lock ons is actually exciting, i do have to point out that no matter what it'd be, bad netcode will make it unsatisfying

    simple adder (4 bit)

    so i've made 4 adders connected one after another to make a 4 bit adder (calculates sum of 2 numbers in a range from 0 to 15, giving result from 0 to 30) this one shows 3+7=10, 3 is 0011 on the lower left part and 7 is 0111 in the lower middle, result is outputted at the right part and shows 01010 this one shows 1+11=12 (11 is hard to see due to lighting, but levers show that it's 1101) so, the most annoying part of this is that you have to use 4 splitters for each adder, which is, as you can see, almost half of it, also size is not changeable and connecting is awkward with such small distances trying to figure how to make 7-segment display now (or rather 13-pixel) for better output, my prediction is that i'll need more room for that than for adder itself

    well, i'd like to suggest 4 pretty common things first (in the order of importance, i guess): relay, for more fun electronics, any kind of getting information from the world without direct interaction (so, sensor): either pressure button or laser emitter+receiver, some kind of signal delay item, maybe even with delay setting, anything moving, like elevator or more doors i understand that moving things will cause even more lag, which is not something people want, but making some automatic doors and light would be hella great
