Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to pick a good spot to start construction on a large ship? I've gone through a few explore play-throughs where I've built a large ship in seemingly deep water to sail it 50 yards and hit crazy amounts of "sand bars" I guess you'd call them and be unable to actually sail the ship away from the island. Is it possible to terraform the land under the water to make a port like area where the water just off the land is as deep as necessary to dock and then set sail with a large ship?

I was wondering about this. At some point it would be pretty fun to be able to breed animals for resources or even new funky colors. I'm always one for some husbandry.

The server sounds like a great way for some fun testing. I'll try joining up there and probably discord in a little bit!

Has anyone else had fog blanket their home island for more than 3 days? At least I think it's fog... it's bright white blurriness and honestly hurts my eyes too much to play when it's there for such a long period of time. Is this intended? If it were for half a game day I wouldn't mind it so much or even if it weren't so vibrant, but over a half an hour of it is painful.
