This actually worked. Thanks. First bug I have seen here where someone figured out a fix for it.

Another update and this still doesnt work. Keys reset on every single login. And some keys unbindable. Is anyone looking into this?

I have this problem too, keys reset on every log in, also multiple keys seem to be hardcoded no matter what you change in the key config. Like Jump

Yeah it seems after giving it a try, its just as borked as I expected. My controls were reset to default, and having set them to my liking, only half work. I suspect that maybe some keys were hardcoded but still left in the key config as being changable.

Should I even bother starting a new world now? When is the next update when this will be 'finalized' as the game puts it?

I guess i'll just uninstall and check back in 6-12 months? But stuttered sailing in a game about sailing is pretty much a game breaker.

To be clear, the game doesn't freeze. The snow/rain still falls, the ship still bobs in the water and the sails still billow. The ship simply stops dead in the water for 10-20 secs every 1-1.5 mins. With the wake around the ship halting. Now I am back using the duckboat which has 0 problems.

Reinstalled the game 3 days ago to try any new changes, yesterday built the larger ship and would get pauses while sailing for 10-20 seconds. Random but no longer than 1-1.5 mins between. Tried the middle ship today and getting the same problem. I have no issues with the duck boat. Smooth sailing I also have no connection issues on this computer. I don't know if Ylands needs to be 'always online' or not. Though I also cannot seem to put the raft on top of the water. It seems to spawn submerged so haven't tried it for any length of time. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt

It's been awhile since I have played so I reinstalled and started a new single explore map which lasted all of 5 mins before I started mining and fell through the world and died of freezing. Respawn button did nothing. Since then I have had the game go whitescreen multiple times where it asks if you want to wait or shut it down. This happened from just clicking the crafting button. Its happened before but after waiting awhile the game came back, This last time was crafting my first cloth. I waited 15 mins before I said screw it and closed the game. Before it had locked up like 10 mins just making rope. I game every day and am not having problems with any other games. I want to like it because I like the whole idea of the game. But its just not letting me like it.
