    I have been trying to be careful but I keep having an issue where I am under the assumption i am doing one thing (driving forward, disembarking, stopping) and suddenly i am in the water and my boat racing ahead far faster than i could ever have hopes to catch it.   It makes me so irritated i usually just quit that game entirely, and come back later to a new fresh game, but eventually it always occurs again.   I am not 100 percent sure whether it is some sort of lag-glitch that I can't entirely control,  or something I am doing wrong. I've played this game for 2.5 years now, since well before it went to Steam,  and it just periodically always happens to me. Maybe I am a slow learner, I don't know. 

    But I think a boat with no captain or crew should eventually slow to a stop.

    edit: Ok once I logged out and when i logged back, the sails were unfurled meaning I could catch it. Another time I could not. Not sure what was up with that.

    I have to say I think that is a great suggestion! :)

    Hey Guys :) I have started a Let's Play series on YLANDS. I plan on making this a long term series on my channel and also introducing other videos such as tutorials, playing on servers and more! Check out my video below and feel free to ask me any questions you may have :)

I did a video back on October 9th that went over the highlights of the Dev Diaries 95, 96, 97 & 98 where they talked about the changes to exploration. Diary 98 talks about the reduction in the number of Ylands and I think it was mentioned somewhere that it would be 8-9 Ylands but I have not found a definitive on that this morning. Be cautious of any data you find online that was posted before the release, a lot has changed ?

    Ah ok I haven't gone far enough to get that message yet but that's interesting :) I've started a club where I'm trying to build a community around this game. Let me know if you're interested in joining :)

    Hey thanks for the question! And no, it's not stupid at all :) I'm new so there's TONS I don't know at the moment! So, from researching online the most common answer is that there are 8-12 total islands in a YLANDS game, though some answers on reddit suggest up to 15. I'd say a safe bet is around the 8-10 mark, but I may be able to give you more info after exploring my own world more. Hope this helps!

    Hey Everyone :)

    I'm new to YLANDS, as I imagine many of you are. I thought it would be great to start a discussion on anything you may be struggling with. Ask any questions here and I'll do my best to find the answer :)
