  1. Dear Community,

    Hi there. I am Matthew Gene, but you know me as Hunter-Over-Fire. I currently live on a homestead in Florida and often must tend to some chores and school. Other than that, I spend the majority of my time playing games, and one that I happen to play often is Ylands. The main reason I play Ylands is because of the editor where you have the freedom of building, coloring, custom scripting and more. I can't say what I am building in the editor now, but at the time of this Edit I am working on my Golden Draggon locomotive.

    Another thing I spend some of my time doing is reading over the Ylands forums and viewing other people's adventures and experiences. You Guys and Gals are one of my largest inspirations sources.

    I'm not sure what to talk about to make this post look long and humorous.

    I sometimes get carried away with writing when I'm not doing much or it is towards the end of the day. Speaking of writing, I often play a browser game called AI Dungeon for characters and Asset ideas for Ylands. So far, from AI Dungeon alone, I've written out a tone of lore, characters, locations, landmarks, historical events, and many more things I can't wait to share with you through the Ylands Editor.

  2. I am trying to make a way that this script will fire Every time this object is hit buy a person with this specific weapon but it will not work for some lame reason.  any ideas as to why and how to fix it?

I Managed to create a working Hand Pump and tank settup In the Ylands Editor.  How it works you might ask?  Well when you Interact With the handle/tap, The handle/tap will check for a certain item type within your inventory.  The item is a glass flask, and if it finds the glass flask in your inventory, it will play a 3 second animation, a water pouring sound effect, and a water collecting sound effect. It will also delete the Flask from your inventory and replace it with a potion of speed colored to look like it is filled with water.  If it does not find the flask in your inventory, the animation and sound effect will still play (with the exception of the water collecting sound effect) and a player warning will appear telling you that you have "No Glass".  The image for both are provided.20200310033529_1.thumb.jpg.65121fd53e07fac778aa3cd95edd9202.jpg20200310002210_1.thumb.jpg.af27a516381c55a66f2a7602640a1112.jpg

I am the modern Warfare kind of guy and I love snipers.  So I suggest some modern guns and knives.  ylands has some old school guns sure but some creators feel the need to have more of a variety of guns.  I am making a hunting game so perhaps more rifles would do me well.  More rifles would provide me more work on the gun shops which I love doing.  If it isn't possible to add any more cool guns than can you provide some gun attachments such as scopes.  If that is still impossible to add than make it easier to have the game sense what button you are pressing on the keybord for much easier custom visual scripting effects. If that is still impossible, than thank you for reading.  Thanks for reading anyways even if one or more of that was possible.
