I figured out what the issue was, I had a controller plugged into my PC. This was stopping the Confirm button from having any input. Unplugging the controller fixed the issue and I was able to start a new Exploration game.

Hello, I have run into the following issue when attempting to start a new game in exploration: I select a region to begin in, and when I hit the button to confirm the regions name, nothing happens and I cannot advance past this screen. I was looking forward to trying the new exploration mode, any help towards fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Right next to the Ticket Booth / Tourist Trap is the Propeller Rental / Repair shop. Propellers are the best way to get around! So before you head off why not make sure that you gear is all good, and if you forgot your propeller, you can just rent one for the day!
