Don't forget the key behind the sphere, that's important as well

You can craft an Engineer armour that has some resists against electricity Other then that, you can always turn off the flow of electricity if you need to move around it and turn in back on later

Yes, expert tools are obsolete as well. They might appear in some random sites and scenarios but we will be removing them as well

For a more delicate solution, disconnect the stream via energy linker

X crossbow is not an ingame item anymore, its model is now a free skin for iron crossbow you can claim in the shop.
Ylandium sword is an obsolete item we have removed from the game.

The force field is being kept up by the energy, try disabling/disconnecting the energy from the field

In singleplayer, you respawn on the yland you died on.
There is currently a bug in multiplayer that will cause you to respawn on the starting yland, we're looking into that.- 1

Do you have a needle? You can craft it from wood with a knife or find a sea urchin and break him into sea urchin spine

You need a steel rod, copper wire and any hammer

We're actually already planning to improve the fishing feature. Tents are a good idea, we'll look into it
Thanks for playing! Enjoy

Hi, the Horse can't be made to stay right now, it's something we're looking into. The best workaround would be to build a fence for him with a wooden gate. Get him inside either by placing a herbivore bait or getting him to follow you and then close the gate
Not being able to extinguish torches is a bug, which will be fixed in the next update. Sorry about that. With the food, try eating bread or meat or other cooked/baked goods. The will satiate you for a longer time. Even with fruit you can eat more even if the message "I'm hungry"disappears. You probably eat just enough so the message disappears and in a while you're hungry again.
You can put down logs vertically by entering placing mode (selecting log in hotbar), holding H (rotate item) and clicking right mouse button to change the axis.

Yes, it's only for Dirt, Gravel, Sand and Snow. It's there so these materials don't clutter up your inventory and you can keep them in one place
-
That's very strange indeed!
Can you send us the files?
Your world file should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\30192779\298610\remote\SaveGames
output_log and output_log_clean should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ylands\Ylands_Data
Thank you!

Tried to light the charcoal kiln ... the lighter wouldn't show any interaction. tried to feed it ... zero ..
Guess i have to play around trial and error style until i either find out how .. or simply abandon a great game and start again form zero .. which i am reluctant to do.
We need more instructions....
You need to fuel workstations with wood first in order to light it now.

Well you can either go and get sandstone, or collect and craft enough pigment to colour your stone blocks yellow, which also takes some time collecting and crafting, so there's some effort either way ;). Also Sandstone and Stone don't have the same amount of HP.

Hi! This bug has already been fixed and it won't be around the the upcoming update

Adrie
Nope, you can't build outside of these boxes, not even the case you described, if one block overlaps outside the box, it can't be built. Also I edited the values, they were wrong. The lengths are 14 and 18.
-
Sure!
Smaller chassis - 14 x 6 x 9
Larger chassis - 18 x 8 x 9
1 unit is one block of building grid

I'm still trying to find a perpetuum mobile, so in that case: how is power consumption influenced by having heaters/ylandium chargers/lights powered by engines? Could I use an engine on my boat to power a generator, that will charge batteries that will run the engine and so on?
Also, can we use coal engines in our bases/houses to power our light network as generators?
And last but not least, can we get a switch that is just a little bit smaller/more compact? So we can have a switch on the car to turn lights/heaters on/off
Thanks for answering!
Adrie
Engines have a set number of generated power, just like generators. Generated power (green lines) and power to propel cars are separate values.
Yes, you can do the whole perpetuum mobile thing with power cells and charging station - this will not be in the game for long, because we're redoing the energy system to make more sense at the moment.
You can use coal and ylandium engines to power anything, even lights in your house etc.
We'll see about the smaller switch, we don't have it yet, but it's definitely a good idea. However you will able to fit a lot of things on the larger car chassis so I wouldn't worry about that

I'll try it! Is there a chance of running into Mind Flayers or Drows?

We've already fixed the bug with the unselectable felines and it will appear in the next update

Hi, we've reviewed your save file and it can be loaded up just fine in the current public build.
We've just released a hotfix, try launching your game, it will download automatically and then try loading up your game

Hello, can you please send us your save file?
Thank you

This will be fixed - recipe for repair kit will not consume your hammer anymore after the next update. (It should be out sometime next week)
