I spent a solid 5-6 hours building a ship in Single Player Explore mode (because that's just how I roll), only to find out it can only travel in straight lines.. and really only backwards because there's a beach in front of it. When decorating the cabin of the ship, one of the last touches I added was placing a Computer I had discovered on an Iron Table. As soon as I placed the Computer, it disappeared, and the ship listed heavily to one side, tilting about 30 degrees. I didn't think too much of it, and the ship righted itself a little while later. That's when I went to take it on its maiden voyage, only to discover it can''t turn. I tried restarting the game and replacing the helm. There's plenty of clearance under the ship so it's not stuck on anything visible. I'm assumed the Computer glitched out and did... something? to my ship. I've found my ship in Editor mode (thankfully I was only one island away in a known direction when I built it) but I wasn't able to find the Computer, including inside the hull and under the ground. Any suggestions?

RESOLVED New Ship, won't steer
Duck L'Orange replied to Duck L'Orange's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
This continued after yesterday's update. Can't locate the computer anywhere in Editor mode, and in fact no part of my ship save the hull gets rendered in the Editor, though it's all there in Game Mode. Just chalking this one up to an Early Access loss and starting a new ship -
What it says on the tin The recipe requires you to have a Knife and a Hammer. The Knife gets used, but the Hammer gets consumed. Is this intentional? If so... drop your Warhammer and stock up on Stone Hammers if you're making these

RESOLVED Ylands workshop won't load properly
Duck L'Orange replied to Airto's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
Still not working. Looks to be a lack of character escaping in some HTML output: <main-header v-bind:user-data='{"id":"4f6...obfuscated...0b4","username":"Duck%20L'Orange"}' login-url="/auth/login" logout-url="/auth/logout" v-bind:hoverable="false" v-bind:use-native-links="true" always-active-link="workshop"></main-header> The apostrophe in "Duck%20L'Orange" breaks the json object -
Recipe for Medieval windows *consumes* Hammer?
Duck L'Orange replied to Duck L'Orange's topic in General Discussion
The bigger issue for me was that Warhammers DO count as hammers... so making a window unintentionally left me without my favoured weapon -

I'm still experiencing this same problem - I've tried signing in on 3 different PCs at this point and they all result in the broken header. Note that I am signing in with a linked Steam account. -

No worries, I'll put that particular game on-hold for a while -
RESOLVED New Ship, won't steer
Duck L'Orange replied to Duck L'Orange's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
If I leave the save as-is, the ship should basically correct itself in the next update then? I'm ok with just leaving it in a holding pattern until then if I can't find the computer (which hasn't gone well so far) Some kind of "placed entity search/browser" in the Editor would be a super helpful feature in this kind of case -
I did not, owing to the nearby sharks

RESOLVED After respawning, can't open containers
Duck L'Orange posted a question in Bugs & Technical Issues
While exploring a very deep cave in Single Player Explore, I was mauled to death by a Mutant Alpha Leopard. I respawned fairly near my base of operations (on the same island) and wandered over, only to find I couldn't interact with any containers or equipment. Chests would show the animation of opening but no Interface. I was able to pick cotton and other resources from the area. I was also able to raise/lower the anchor of my nearby boat, but those seemed to be the only actions I could take - I couldn't even feed my poor horse! I exited the game and loaded it again, with no change. Deciding that perhaps this incarnation of my character was bugged in some way, I opted to feed this fellow to the sharks and see if another respawn had better luck. I took off swimming away from my base, and after getting a fair distance into the somehow-shark-free waters, the interface for the most recent chest I attempted to open popped up on my screen, and immediately closed again. I swam back, tried to open the chest, same problem - animates opening but I get no interface. So I took off wandering across the island, and again after getting maybe 100-200m away from the chest, the interface briefly popped up on my screen and disappeared again. Any suggestions? Is this a known issue and if so, can it be resolved? I've started a new game, but honestly I was really enjoying the huge amount of spelunking this island offered and I'd hate to lose it. -
Me too! It was floating with a pair of pants. I'm not sure I want to know what was going on.

I've confirmed that becoming a Horse Murderer has solved my problems. This game has taken me to some weird places... -

Poor Hanz, he served me so well... I'll give that a shot tonight and let you know if it helps.
