Think you'd have to dig through an array of player inventory that adds up the gold total.

Far as I know, the creator chive doesn't protect from drowning. Power helmet is required.
I honestly thought that that was by design.

Scripted weather seems pretty buggy. Wasn't able to switch from a snowstorm to a clear Day by interacting with two separate objects. Using a delayed seems to work, but then it only works once and that's it.
-
We are also missing tools to help manage the servers. There is no god mode for the admins, no way to call up objects without need of a creator cube, not even a way to get a creator cube. If we are not able to edit exploration games once this is out of Early Access, we need these tools before that ever happens.
Like, several patches ago.

I like this idea. we take for granted ore deposits on numerous MMO games, but this does allow control of scarcity, and respawning of each resource. probably doable from an exploration map as well.
-
I've had it happen to me on dedicated server. Don't remember if I died or not.
-
I want the ability to create and customize an exploration map in the editor. If we can't edit saves anymore, having all the features from exploration maps in a new would be more than enough for the editor.
-
Would like to know as well. I had a customized exploration game I can't edit or clean up anymore.
-
Think this was intentional from 9.0 patch.
-
So basically, we're done being able to edit saves.

Is steam cloud the culprit? I ask this cause I made the mistake of using the save folder to host dedicated game. It wasn't just the old saves that steam cloud brought back, but all the log files too. Caused the game to crash after quitting.
Turn off cloud save and try again.

Perhaps when we can mod the game. Making a strong room inside the player generator can keep everything down to one key.
Or none. Hammer makes the ultimate key

On 6/5/2018 at 3:34 AM, Houp said:I was referring to normal play without use of the editor. Each key can only be assigned to one door or chest. When the devs lock the editor from existing saves, we're stuck in standard exploration maps with one key one lockable rule.
My questions are, why and can't we use the same key on several items? I'm not following the logic here other than to force keys as a management nightmare the more lockable we have.
-
Okay, if the game can assign a key to a chest by its ID, why limit every chest to one?
I don't know if this is temporary, but it is possible to have one key unlock several doors. Will this ever be a feature, and if not, why?

Only in memory structure. Was it computer or my own? Hmm. . . .

Western states here, close enough to a city to get decent Internet.

Wish we had an option 3: exploration map we can setup in editor, then modify it before playing. We used to be able to set up anti griefinglogics before those got pulled from game saves.

I'm just waiting for the ability to take notes on maps. Hopefully we get to personalize them by next major patch.
Also think the creation of a map shouldn't break the writing utensil, cause we still need to make notes.

Workstations and boaty parts, seems to be it for combo locks. I do think doors and chests should also have combo locks available, though I still like the ease of use with keys.
-
Another reason to make a forum account is if you want to test out and use dedicated server. Still buggy, but usable.

You'd be better off using barrier on that smiling cube there's several generators there and you can get ylandiam fast.

Thought of a variation of locking someone out after they leave. Lock them in instead, if they have no items they will not be able to get themselves out. Basically, imprison the griefer.

Here's hoping you have a fun online experience.

Didn't the hotfix address this?
[YLD-13344] logs drop in floor

This needs to be fixed now. We shouldn't have to wait for the next major update, so I hope we see a hot fix that deals with objects stuck below terrain instead of dropping on top of it.
