  1. Kimbuck suggested that the shovel have the ability of digging on walls as well as ceilings so they can be made flat which is a similar idea to what you are thinking about but instead of having a separate tool it would be incorporated into an existing tool.

Currently the  shovel  flattens land   and  this can resulted in a"stepped"  landscape ..which is  not  friendly to vehicles  and also  un-appealing to look at.  What would  be  handy is to  be able to use the  f  g  h  keys with the  shovel to contour a tile at a 45 degree angle,  allowing for   sloped roads  etc..  Also to form  beaches   and  easy   access/egress to water.

  2. I'm having an issue with the forum where when I click on the Activity tab and then the My Activity Streams tab the drop down box is partially hidden behind other things on the page and then it disappears when I move the mouse onto it, I can't select anything on it.

Anyone else having this problem or is it just me? xD Edit: I'm using Google Chrome on Windows 10 64 bit if that matters at all

  3. Encountered this strange bug when I updated the dedicated server to the new 0.63v2 version.  I was using an existing single player save file for my private server and several of my clothing items changed colours. A pair of white flippers turned yellow, one white fur jacket and white fur pants turned black, and one white pair of boots turned green. The other clothing items were already black and didn't change colour at all. These items were in a chest on my ship as well as in my character''s inventory. First image is of the save in SP, the second is from the server.

And don't forget about allowing players to fire while riding a horse (both handguns, bows and crossbows).

This and open the map while riding, it drives me nuts having to jump on and off my horse to read my map when exploring

  5. I’d be more enclined to have specific functional clothing which has storage slots. So you could have a tool belt, a bandolier belt for ammo, pants with pockets etc. which you can view in the left panel where you equip the clothing. I don’t know, I guess I’m just so used to playing DayZ!

I agree for things like the chisel, glass blower thing and maybe the small hammer as they're kind of secondary items most of the time but I think it's good we have to think about what to take with most of the other tools, if you're doing gardening you wouldn't take a pick axe, you'd have a shovel and spade and I think if the tool belt can hold any of them it's just dumbing the game down too much.

I totally agree with you here, it would make sense for the tools that you don’t directly hold in your hand to use but are rather part of crafting recipes like you said the chisel and glassblowing pipes, maybe things like the sewing kit too. Otherwise it’s expanding the inventory so unrealistically and for me it’s a bit of a pain having to enter another sub-inventory to access a particular tool to assign it to the hotbar or whatnot.

  7. I agree with the idea of being able to smelt stacks of ingots or craft stacks of items at a time rather than just the single 9 currently. I’ve been thinking maybe instead of completely new workstations that instead we have the ability of upgrading the current ones. So we can choose to increase capacity or decrease crafting time etc.

  8. I would also like an option to choose wether or not you have any NPCs at all each time you create a new game. With the sizes of some of the Ylands being quite small I’m a bit worried that having lots of enemy NPCs as well as the hostile animals will mean that the game will be incredibly hard right at the beginning.

Choosing the ratio is also a neat idea.

As long as you can still go bareback if you want. The saddle must be optional or we may as well admit the whole survival aspect has gone out the window :-)

Totally agree with you here. Maybe the saddle/harness would be necessary for attaching other things like saddle bags for storage or for towing a wagon or cart.

  10. Interesting, user FullTwist had a similar issue where things were disappearing off of their ship too. Their issue seemed to happen when they visited other Ylands. I wonder if it’s related to the problem you are having?

  11. I’ve been doing the same.

Would there be any way to even just change the settings so that users can’t create new thread/topics more than like 3 a day? Other than admins/devs of course. I’m not sure even the most active users are creating more than 3 new topics a day.
