  1. Encountered this bug today ...  I swam up to my raft with my flippers on and right-clicked to use it, but then I couldn't dismount it or interact with anything else like my ship ladder. I switched to 1st person camera and it caused the raft to sink through the water and even through the terrain. It flipped the raft over so I was upside down at one point lol I could access my inventory so I switched out of my flippers to my shoes but then my flippers disappeared :(

Returning back to the main menu and back allowed me to disembark the raft but it still thought I was on the raft so I was still holding the paddle! Again, I couldn't interact with anything and couldn't get back on the raft either. Going back to the main menu and back into the game again fixed that but now I couldn't open any chests or workstations. Saw a similar bug posted earlier and found I had to kill my horse, so I killed one and that didn't work and then I killed another one and that one worked for some reason.

Not sure if the raft bug is related to the horse/container bug or not but very bizarre.

  2. I get frustrated at this too!

Another thing I have problems with is with the seed boxes and the other new containers and even the sleeping mats. Usually I would want to just quickly access their inventory, or lay down and sleep, but instead have to go through the process of hitting the E button and then choosing the correct option. Can be a bit slow and tedious and then I always have the problem of accidentally picking the containers or mats up with right click when I go to access them as I would with chests. I feel like this should be reversed so that you have to go through the new radial menu to pick the item up. If I’ve placed my container or mat on the ground I am probably going to want to use it/enter its inventory and am unlikely to want to pick it straight back up again.

How did you get that ribbon in your profile? Is that for buying the game before the steam release?

Yes I believe so. I can’t remember if I had it right from the beginning or not. Had a feeling it may have been related to the reputation points too but you could be right

X crossbow is not an ingame item anymore, its model is now a free skin for iron crossbow you can claim in the shop.

Ylandium sword is an obsolete item we have removed from the game.

Thank you! I forgot to ask this question about the ylandium swords a while ago. I had noticed they weren’t craftable anymore but forgot to verify it before updating the wiki! Now I know for sure

  5. Ok it looks like you have to find them in game now. I've crafted a Canvas, Pigments, the Pigment Jar, the Paint Gun, the Dying Stand and found the old Painting Kit at a random site and nothing pops up in crafting menu.

There are a few random sites that I have found that do spawn paintings though.

  6. Diamonds are found randomly when digging up the ground, I think they are more for cosmetic purposes and don’t have a specific value yet.

In terms of the Ylandium Crystals, did you find the massive open caves? Usually there’s a few linked together and the lower ones have more crystals in them. But yeah I generally agree how sparse they can be.

  7. Hi Adrian, I’d love if you could help out on the wiki! I’ve got most of the essentials down but there’s a lot of information that could be fleshed out or added such as stack quantities, destruction/dismantle yields etc. It makes it easier if you create a gamepedia/twitch account if you don’t have one already. Let me know if you need any help.

  8. I can’t test it out at the moment so I’ll have to get back to you on whether or not the paintgun is needed. Unless someone else on here can confirm this?

Yeah the paintgun requires the locksmith table which means you need to source rubber from the rubber trees on tropical islands and then find sulphur chunks too.

Here is what I did and kinda cheeky. When you start a save,  spawn in and immediatly leave. When you go to continue there will be a picture of your map instead of a picture of your character. I screen shot that and then explore my island. I get the shape of it then go back to the screen shot and find what island I am on and then from there I know exactly where every island is so I don't go on the hour sail...  If the map does not show when you try to continue just erase your progress which would be nothing anyway and the map will pop up.

I was wondering how you did this ;)

  10. That’s a good question, I haven’t looked into that since the latest update. Since we can’t craft the painting kit anymore and all then maybe we just need to craft the pigments or possibly the Paintgun!

  11. I love the idea of the blueprints, it would definitely benefit those who are creatively challenged like me xD

The modern amenities might not fit into the current style of the game but I could see them being potentially implemented in the future as things that could be crafted higher up in the tech tree in Survival mode. Maybe when new resources like ceramics are craftable too, out of a mixture of clay and sand or something derived from sand like silicone fired up in the kiln, so we can make lovely porcelain thrones (aka toilets), sinks and bathtubs etc.
