  1. Hiya,

Just encountered this bug/glitch where the auto detect for the controller/keyboard is freaking out.

As soon as I stop moving the mouse or pressing keys on the keyboard it jumps back to gamepad and the camera flips up and spins straight away making it very hard to play.

The only way around it has been to change the Active Controller setting to just Keyboard & Mouse rather than auto detect.

I have no gamepad/controller plugged in or active and the mouse and keyboard are generally working fine on the desktop and on other games like Minecraft as well.

I've got a video recording but I can't upload .mp4 files here unfortunately.

    **EDIT**

I did have a PS4 controller plugged in via USB and didn't realise at the time and this seems to be what caused the issue.

  2. Yes, I've made an attempt at starting the Item ID page on the wiki but it's a very time consuming job! If anyone else wants to help out and PM me the ID numbers they know then I can add them to the list! :D

  3. Neat ideas! A harpoon would definitely be useful against sharks.

Imagine an ocean update and they add more sea life and sunken ships and treasures to explore with a craftable deep diving suit, the diving bell helmet type. You'd need Copper Ingots and Glass for the helmet and water proof cloth made by combining Cloth with Resin and add stone or iron ingots for the diving weights for the suit and the boots would have weights too.

Oo and a single giant whale that cruises around the world that you can encounter and possibly tame and catch a ride on it's back if you get lost at sea by calling it with a special whale whistle! xD

  4. Imagine having hand trucks in the game! xD
Those 2-4 wheeled trolley things for moving stacks of boxes around easily.

It would actually be quite useful as a means to move chests and other furniture without having to destroy it and build a new one once the countdown timer has finished. It's a bit strange if I want to move a table, I wouldn't normally think to wack it a few times to do so, rather I'd pick it up or push it.

  5. Hi there,

I've been having a problem when opening chests/containers and then left-clicking on an item in my inventory which brings up the item info window (where you can chose to break, equip and drop the item). However, closing this item window then leads straight to just the main inventory window rather than back to the chest/container inventory window.

Is this intentional or am I doing something wrong? It's really annoying when trying to move lots of items back and forth.

Also, is there a way of moving half a stack of items or individuals items from a stack into/out of a chest/container as well as dropping a whole stack of items from your inventory?

    Cheers

  6. I agree completely.

I'd only just built my first ship and managed to beach it almost straight away.

Only way to get it out would be to dig a huge channel around the coast of my island, which would take way too much time, easier to just make a new ship.

Maybe a feature like in other games where you can flip your vehicle back up right when you roll it or drive off of the track.

Or even if you could make a tug boat to drag it out of sticky situations.

  7. Hi there,

I have just experienced my first ever crash.

It seemed to happen as I was planting a bamboo shoot.

It is interesting to note in the right-hand corner of the image attached that my burning torch extinguished almost at the same time.

Whether this has any significance to the crash I do not know.

Please find the output_log.txt file and a DxDiag.txt report attached along with the image.

    Many thanks,

    Hannah
