No money from the dealer

This is my 5th dealer on 2 different servers but nowhere do I get money.
Is this normal or a bug?

I don't think you need gold pebble in order to trade, as like wild west scenario (I could be wrong). You can craft the money (gold pebble) from gold ore/ingot. [update] and any golden things actually..

I never found NPC trader in multiplayer so far.. already discovered 7 ylands - 3 polar biome.

I just watched your video. that's not a bug, that yellow number at the bottom is the total value of stuff you want to trade. Here is picture to make it little bit clear;

ah, that "money" you see is only value, you need to drag the gold pebble manually if they have it.

Now I understand it.
I have to pull the equivalent of the dealer, only earn money is not.
