This is  my current   project...its a dock and    ship   with  anti theft    additional measures

The  ship helm and  anchor  are padlocked ...but i have placed  large   wooden wing  doors   near the  helm   that when  locked, they are  horizontal.  the  dock  has lockable  doors  either side of the  exit ..which   will foul those    horizontal doors ...preventing the  ship from reversing out of the dock.

make sure  dock  sides are lower than  the  doors     else the  ship will  react  violently  when you  "open" the   side doors  .. ie  lock them  horizontal.
