Can you somehow create an exploring map with more than just 6 or 7 islands?
Think of 15-20 pieces.
Apparently there used to be 9-12 islands in the past.
Maybe it would be interesting if you could adjust the amount of islands.

No, at the moment you can't have more than that. The world size and the amount of ylands have been reduced due to some technical issues. Developers team, say in future they want to bring back the bigger maps.
