Can't switch to engines on ship.

So I put an engine on my ship, and I get the prompt on the helm control that shows I can switch to the engine by pressing RMB, but RMB is also used to release control so I can't actually switch it seems.  I also tried using the RMB directly on the engine but nothing happens.  From what I could find online you just have to build the engine on the ship and you should be good to go, but I can't seem to switch to it no matter what I do.  Any ideas?

Figured out my own problem.  The Ylandium engines needed to be charged even though the linking tool showed they were at 50/50 capacity when they were placed.

You may have already figured this out too, but for anyone else reading, you need to *hold* the RMB to switch to engines, as opposed to just clicking RMB, which will indeed release control of the helm
