How long remains inventory on map after death?

Hi Everybody,

 

I died without any reason when I logged out and later continued my game. Needed to create a new character, and I spawned on my first Island.

After I reached the Island I was last before dying, I did not find any tombstone or whatsoever on top of my base, where i logged off at that time.

So is there a timer for the tombstone? How long the items will last on the map?

Someone has an idea about that?

As far as I know as of the current build at this time, there's no limit to the time items persist on Yland maps.  It's possible that in your case something happened with the world file upon your logging off from your last session. 

Send the log files in (see instructions on posting back at main suggestions page), and a Yland staffer should be able to view and possibly fix your problem.

In singleplayer I can say, as long as you still have the save file working (if no bugs occurred), tbh this kind of case never happen to me.. but in multiplayer I heard some issue about that.
