i did, i have a looong ticket open. They dont have any infos why the servers wont work.

As you see there are otheres having issues. I have no access to the dedi servers forum, so i´m not even able to get files I cvould upload via FTP. Regarding to steam charts there are currently 150 ppl playing ylands. From these only a little amount of players find the forums (actually when having problems) so I think - maybe I´m the only one using cloud gaming servers atm. Nevertheless perhaps someone can contact me to share the "working" server files, so we can play at least over the weekend.

But that wont work for gportal/nitrado etc. servers for you cant execute as admin there. There is no update on files or infos for 2 days now, which is pretty sad. All I want is the state of sunday when I was able to play with my friends and work together on our racing track. There seems not to be any dev contact where I can send my bugreport to - I hope they fix it til friday, meanwhile I´m frustrated enough to write a first impression on steam reviews

But you can actually have own servers with password...so what is the point? This here (i thought) is about RedEagle wanting to know, what kind of servers we want- out of 2 options. It has to be accepted that there are different types of players. Creators as well as destructors...that´s how it has always been. There will probably not be any official servers having admins that take care for you. How should that pay? The answer are password saved private servers and whitelisting instead of facing disrespecting attitude with disrespecting speech and namecalling on official forums. What for? Even if you know the names...you can´t do anything if this player joins, as long as you wont guard all spawns forever. In fact, ylands is in early alpha state. Especially in matters of the server thing. At this state it is futile to talk about rulesets you cannot push through. Atm you can setup nearly nothing. I guess that somewehere in the future they will implement more features to give the owners tools to have the server they want. Meanwhile we have to work with what we have....private servers with the only feature to have it turned on or off, give it a custom name and password...end.

Sorry @kimbuck but what makes you better than - so called "griefers/kiddies" spreading all your verbal hatred out - here in the forums? I dont think namecalling is the right way. It will end in inquisitional conditions in ylands. I cannot imagine anyone wants this. The barrier needs to be a protection against PvP, robbery andso on. When they leave it at actual size everyone has enough space to safe his precious things from the bad, big world. It´s okay to have carebear pve servers as well as pvp and rp servers. Live and let die

#2 - WITH PVP. What coul be more fun than a siege or a SeaFight? The Problems are depleting Ressources. Perhaps it is possible to make large Ressource Spots in DeepSea or so?! Best would be an option to have several areas with pvp and others without- but at the current generation of sandbox games this wont happen.

I hope they are fixing the 0.9 update instead of getting the "old" version running again because my Savegames seem to be saved after the "wrong" 0.9 update

Meanwhile i rented 3 cloud servers.2 at gportal, one at nitrado. On both (even after reinstalling the whole Serverstuff after wiping them per ftp) the servers do not respond. Maybe it worked after the first serverpatch but I was at work at the time I could have tested it. However ther was a second patch on 12:38.

Omfg I hope my savegame IS the old version...my mates will tar and feather me if not (not to mention I spent 2,50€ because I thought it was GPortals fault to get another testserver)

Seems to be an issue with the update: GPortal aswell as Nitrado Server wont show up.

I don´t see how a Ylands Facebook Community has nothing to do with Ylands.

Whats bad about 30FPS? You should skip playing "Alphas" if you want polished gameplay. And stop using caps...it´s infantile
