Random encounters would be awesome! They don't have to be in both, just the chance to get them will be awesome! Thank you, Ocnoglittle!

I've one more question that I would really like them to consider. Would it be possible for us to get uncraftable items like the cooking pots from NPC traders?

Questions for the next session: 1. Can more items go into the toolbox, like chisels, screwdrivers, and knives? 2. Can we have thinner building items, like wood or wallpaper that won't take up a whole block? 3. If we can't have a refrigerator, would you consider creating plain white storage boxes in different sizes that we could use? Instead of just metal or wood ones with crosses or other items on them? 4. Please let them know that the 1.5 upgrade was really good, and I'm really glad they are working on Exploration!

RESOLVED {Experimental Branch} Animation break
SandyT replied to JohnMFSteel's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
This sounds very similar to how it works on boats in legacy and 1.5 exploration too. If you are swimming to your boat, and click on the boat control, you are standing up. You have to right click twice to have your character sit down and be able to navigate. -
RESOLVED [RESOLVED] [YLD-29010] Picking up a lit gunpowder keg (or bomb) causes it to never explode, even when placed
SandyT replied to ocnoglittle's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
I found a gunpowder keg while digging and I picked it up and placed it to help with my terraforming. When I lit it, nothing happened except the keg disappeared. -
How is the Covid-19 situation going in your country?
SandyT replied to a.schmied200's topic in Off-topic
I'll let you know if any of those things happen to me. I received my first dose on the 26th. So far, just the usual sore arm at the injection site. But I'll keep you posted. -
RESOLVED Creator Cube inconsistencies
SandyT replied to handofthesly's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
And the only way you can find the 4x1x1 wooden block is to search for wooden block. It hasn't shown in the blocks section of building materials for quite a while. -
Yes, chocolate as well as cheese from traders.

I agree, the rhino is much larger and harder to kill and it gives a lot of meat compared to a sheep so the amount of wool should also be larger.

RESOLVED [YLD-28509] Unable to load Ylands
SandyT replied to SandyT's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
Hi, Adam, No, I forgot to post a follow-up. The following day, I just used my desktop shortcut as usual and it loaded just fine. I apologize for not being respectful of your time. Thank you, though, for the follow-up! -

I have a suggestion on making more items sustainable. I've been using some of the new recipe items that we received an update or so ago. I can plant or grow most items so I can continue to make these recipes. However, there are a few things that I can't grow. These are the two types of mushrooms and eggs. How about making it possible to grow mushrooms? And the eggs seem easy enough - we need chickens that we can tame to gather eggs. Thanks for being so open to feedback and keep up the great work! Mr. Adam, I just want to mention that this piece of "new" wasn't communicated very well in the upgrade. I've seen several instructions on how to start a new game, but nowhere in those instructions was it mentioned that we wouldn't get a PB. This is misleading since we always start a new game with a broken PB. I think people would have been more careful if we had known we would ever only get 1 PB. I realize you are planning on looking at this, but please take into consideration that this caught most of us completely by surprise. Is there a way to rectify this now? And going forward, we'll know we won't get another one? The lack of a PB is a very limiting issue, due to griefers and adding considerable difficulty in capturing blueprints of new builds or correcting errors in current builds. Thanks for listening. Sandy

RESOLVED Technical Question - Recently played screen too full
SandyT posted a question in Bugs & Technical Issues
Please tell me how I can get rid of the old recently played games, screenshot attached. I was apparently doing something wrong when I started playing 1.5 and as you can see, I've got a lot of saved games that aren't current any longer. I've tried to open a few of the older ones and get a message that the game can't be found. Which makes me wonder why it is still showing? If the game is gone, why isn't the shortcut gone too? I'm hoping you can help me or direct me on how to clean this up, it's driving me nuts. I realize it may be a short trip, but I really can't handle a lot of clutter and this is painful to look at. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sandy output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt -
That looks totally amazing! Thanks for sharing the screenshots.

Just FYI - it worked! All my inventory and progress is just like I last played it. Hope this helps some others with the same issue. -
RESOLVED Technical Question - Recently played screen too full
SandyT replied to SandyT's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
I found this post on Steam and it seemed to work. I'm down to about 5 games in my recently played items and it got rid of the editor world I had created too. I saved all the deleted files to a different folder just in case. Getting ready to play my home base and make sure everything is good. If not, I'll update this thread. Thanks. Berzeger Dec 8, 2017 @ 7:31am Hi, Steam cloud notices your files are missing and restores them for you. If you wish to delete them permanently, either go into the game and delete them through the continue menu, or: 1) start the game up (main menu is fine) 2) delete the files from your disk 3) exit the game Steam Cloud then synchronizes modified files and will mark these missing files as deleted. Suggestion - More editor items and building items
SandyT posted a question in Suggestions & Feedback
We have several NPC's with items for sale. It would be awesome if more of the editor items that we can't craft would be available to purchase from a NPC vendor. There are several items that we can't craft that we are able to find in the game, such as paintings, teapots, coffee cups, plates and so on. However, I've never run across any of the pots and pans or the ladle or crowbar and several others in the game. If those items can be available to purchase, that would be awesome! I don't know about coding or scripting, but it seems since some are available, others could be too without breaking the coding. Other building items that I would love to see would be a refrigerator that we can store food in. You could even require ice as one of the building blocks to craft it. I would also like to see the small red kitchen cabinets available with a shelf and glass door. Speaking of doors, how about a glass door or screen door? Those would be cool as we could see through them. And the availability to purchase a protective barrier. Unless you have a different solution for replacing the ones that have been lost when clearing game progress. Thank you for working so hard on exploration in this game!! -
The recently played games screen is very confusing. It has caused some confusion for me, assuming the latest game is the one at the beginning has turned out to be false. I managed to lose my base with my PB set up by choosing the wrong icon. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it, but not until after I had deleted my game and character progress in the hopes I could start over with an empty recently played games menu and a PB. Neither of those happened, I just lost all my inventory and had to start again without a PB. This will mostly confine me to SP. Suggestion: Make the recently played games menu more stream-lined and intuitive with players having the ability to delete the "games" that aren't needed any longer. I've found if I don't start on my spawn island, it's a roulette game if the one I pick still has my current player and progress. If we could delete the ones we need to, it would help me tremendously. Plus it would go a long way toward satisfying my OCD, Question: Will we only ever get just ONE PB from now on? I forgot the mention that I went as far as uninstalling Ylands and re-installing in hopes of getting a fresh start. But it didn't work.

Recently played games screen and missing PB
SandyT replied to SandyT's question in Suggestions & Feedback
Thanks, Spiritchaser28. I did delete all my progress and games. After I did that, all of the games were still showing, but when I clicked on one of them, it spawned me on the temperate island without any inventory at all, it was all gone and there wasn't a new PB either. It wasn't even a safe island. -
RESOLVED On Far East biome - tea trees won't bloom
SandyT replied to SandyT's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
ocnoglittle - Your suggestion to hang around in the region for a few in-game days worked like a charm! All of the tea trees matured and I gathered some tea leaves. I was also able to cut down a few mature ones and got seeds. I really appreciate your help and the research time that you spent on this - thank you very much!! -
RESOLVED On Far East biome - tea trees won't bloom
SandyT posted a question in Bugs & Technical Issues
I'm not able to harvest tea leaves as the tea trees never mature. Also, when you cut one down, it doesn't give you any seeds. I assume it is because it is still immature. Would you be able to look into this? Thanks! Sandy -
RESOLVED Can't eat food in multiplayer explore
SandyT replied to zarwil's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
Here are some logs. When I first start the game, I was able to eat, but after I left the spawn island and slept, I couldn't eat any longer. I let myself get killed and went back to spawn. Still can't eat anything. Attached are my log files. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt
