I'm not able to harvest tea leaves as the tea trees never mature. Also, when you cut one down, it doesn't give you any seeds. I assume it is because it is still immature. Would you be able to look into this? Thanks!

I have a suggestion on making more items sustainable. I've been using some of the new recipe items that we received an update or so ago. I can plant or grow most items so I can continue to make these recipes. However, there are a few things that I can't grow. These are the two types of mushrooms and eggs. How about making it possible to grow mushrooms? And the eggs seem easy enough - we need chickens that we can tame to gather eggs. Thanks for being so open to feedback and keep up the great work!

I planted 6 of these in front of my house, but they slowly went missing. Also the other bush from the Far East island, tea, doesn't drop the seeds when you cut one down.

Here are some logs. When I first start the game, I was able to eat, but after I left the spawn island and slept, I couldn't eat any longer. I let myself get killed and went back to spawn. Still can't eat anything. Attached are my log files.

Will we have birds again to follow to new maps?

Why can't we store the Axe, Knife, Chisel, or Screwdriver in the toolbox? Also, why does it automatically put coal that we mine in the toolbox instead of the coal bucket? I would like to know the reasoning behind this, please. And while I'm asking this, I have similar questions on the herb bag. We can't store grain, carrots, potatoes, or spinach however, we can store buckwheat and most every other plant. Why not the other plants too? Thank you! Sandy

I don't know how to do the exports, but I managed to export a local game somehow. I finally got it deleted by removing the file name. It is shown in 3 different locations in the same folder directory and it won't disappear until all of them are deleted.

So, what can you do with scripting? Say, you make something that you really like, how do you use it in a game? Or do you have to create a whole world to put it in? Can you make new things, like animals?

So, when is the 1.5 update expected to be released?

I've been playing this game since it was released to early access in Steam. I had watched a let's play series by Keralis and it looked fantastic. I had followed Keralis for years playing Minecraft, but I only played on creative as there were too many creatures trying to kill you in survival for me to enjoy it, instead I loved the building part. This game seemed to be the answer for me, it had great graphics, an engaging resource and crafting system, and a tongue in cheek humor that I really enjoy. I was also able to play in the regular exploration mode which was really exciting and made you work a strategy to accomplish your goals. However, when I finally decided to go to multi-player, I wasn't very impressed at all. Other players became the ones who kill you, take all the resources, and just make it difficult to enjoy. Then I found the P1 group and MP changed completely. Now, after all the concentration on the editor, I'm hoping we can get the exploration MP part working correctly. I've heard rumors that perhaps BI isn't in creative control of their own game any longer, due to a large sponsor. I hope this isn't the case, but if it is, what can we expect in the future? I personally enjoy the exploration, I really enjoy the "magic" that other players can make in the editor, but that isn't necessary to the enjoyment of the game. If, in fact, BI is no longer in control of their own creative process, please let us know what direction your sponsor is taking this game. If you are in creative control, perhaps you could end up with 2 products, the editor and the exploration. Due to all the things that need fixed, I've actively looked for another survival sandbox game to learn and get immersed in. But I haven't found another that I like as much as Ylands, plus, there isn't another gaming community that I've found that compares to the ones that Ylands has attracted. Please consider being more transparent with the players who have been with you, rooting for you, helping every way they can to make this game a success. I would love for this exploration game to be an enjoyable, exciting time, rather than a very frustrating time. And I'm sure the more people we have playing exploration (not destructive people), the more people will become interested in learning the editor to enhance their enjoyment of the game. I appreciate your time reading this.

First, I love the tool box, it helps free up so much inventory space. Thank you very much for adding it. I do have a suggestion or question, though. Why can't we put the axe, the knife, the screwdriver, and iron chisel in the tool box? If you could make it include these last few items, that would be fantastic! Thank you for keeping the improvements coming, some of them are real game-changers!

I've now tamed 4 different horses, but they quickly disappear and their names no longer show in my pet call list. I've just noticed this since the weekend. Please let me know what I can attach to help you with this question. Thanks!

Just an observation on how many people are playing a multi-player game right now. The public multi-players total a whole 21 people. We need to have our Nitrado servers back.

I am also having issues with the game freezing. I started a new SP exploration game and then went to the editor to open it. The editor looked like the game was "underground" then it was just the background. I tried the test game feature and it did bring up the game, but it was frozen. I received the image below when trying to get out of the game.
The 3 attached files are the ones that show they were modified today when the issue happened.

What a wonderful thing to get first thing this afternoon! I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention before. I'm doing a happy dance now! Thanks,

I understand that the map isn't needed for navigation with the islands being visible, however, I would still like to have my map for a visual representation of island locations, sizes, biome, etc. Before, I could note where my base was on the island and I didn't need to be navigating something in order to see what direction I was going. I really don't understand the reason for removing the map, would you explain that decision for me? Thanks,

I've been playing on MP and closed the session. Game saved and all is good. When I tried to go back into that session, it starts the loading process then shuts down Ylands entirely. Here are the output logs for this. Thanks,

This time, the MP server I was on lost connection (apparently) and my game froze trying to close out the session. Here are the log files for this one. Thanks,

When exiting a multi-player game, Ylands doesn't go past the blue screen with the alternating color "thinking" circle. I have to manually close the game completely down and restart it. Thanks,

@jchob I don't know much about the editor other than going in and opening my SP map and add the creator cube or other item. I'm willing to learn, though. What I would like to add to my game would be a couch, TV, kitchen sink, wall cabinets, and a refrigerator as a start. Here is what I have so far just using the items you can build in game. But I still need to learn how to make them properly plus the other items. Are any of these something I could create in the editor? Thanks! Sandy.
On Far East biome - tea trees won't bloom

ocnoglittle - Your suggestion to hang around in the region for a few in-game days worked like a charm! All of the tea trees matured and I gathered some tea leaves. I was also able to cut down a few mature ones and got seeds. I really appreciate your help and the research time that you spent on this - thank you very much!!
