Thats not really viable right now but thanks for the suggestion. I havnt seen it break the game so i shall wait till a better alternative comes along

Hey Lighting is a quite a big part of my game and there are a couple things that hinder it being the best it can be: 1)Ambient light around players enable players to be bale to see without a light but i would like them only to be able to see properly when holding a torch. 2) You can set the light using an interior logic but it would be nice to be able to set it to a unique player, in my game i would like one team to see better in the dark AKA have night vision i think this would be best done in a filter for the player camera but thats just guess Fist one is the biggest problem Thanks

This is all very well for one entity but if you have a whole garden for example this would not be very fun, i feel like it should be an entity property similar to pickable or indistractble

Hey So at the moment players get teleported with an entities they are controlling, this is a problem for me because players get teleported when hit and if they are sitting on something that goes with them. Right now i have the script setting the controlled entity to non and this works but it doesnt feel like the right way to do things i think this should happen naturally. On a side note when doing the above im still in the sitting position when teleported

Simply select multiple objects > go to object properties > uncheck pickable. This only works if all the objects you selected have the property. Note this applies to any other object properties

Hey I found it possible to glitch through this van by jamming myself in a corner and spam jumping, quite possibly my van could be adjusted but more importantly this could be exploited in other games and explore.

Set interaction entity bug (could be general problem)

Hey In my game i am using the set interaction entity to detect when someone interacts with a bank safe(exit a vent) I teleport them to a location when they interact, this has always worked fine when testing in the editor but when playing in multiplayer works for everyone else except me. Heres the deal we host from Canada and i live in South Africa so i experience hectic lag and this is most likely the problem. I feel like Lag is effecting other custom logic that i am 99% sure is correct. So is lag causing issues with logic? this would be a huge problem. Oliver_P1 -

hi a couple bugs i have ran into: control dragging scripting segments: in some occasions control dragging to duplicate doesn't work. I holed control, click and then drag, my cursor moves but no block is duplicated. When i exit and reenter the logic the duplicated segment is where i dragged my mouse to. This is happening irregularly in one of my global storages and possibly in some others. I can send you a .yland if that would help debugging. Wrong colors for code segments: Some times the color surrounding the code is wrong and it blends into each other making it hard to see whats happening. I dont have much more information on this sadly but i THINK it could be happening when duplicating code and/or duplicating logic. thanks Oliver_P1 -
Hey all Im needing to clear a few arrays at the end of my game before the new round. I tried setting them to an array called null which didn't have an items inside but this didn't seam to work. any other suggestions?

I have been having problems with control clicking several blocks that i know can be control clicked and i think iv had this problem with stuff other then local variables. How should i send the scenario? -
Hey In the old logic i remember having a very small minimum delay between repeats in a time trigger something like 0.0001 or 0.001 seconds but now the minimum delay is 0.03 i presume this is for performance but it can make animations a bit jittery so I would like to know what the reason for this is and will it change?

Hey all This message is my opinion and I am not representing anyone or group. However i am part of a group that entered a competition hosted by tencent, here is my disappointing experience... This reply is very similar to the above post but i wanted to bring my personal experience into it. Most of you will probably know that quite a while back Tencent hosted a Ylands competition with prizes adding up to 30 000 dollars, thats a lot of money for most of us but not for a company like Tencent. Sadly everything did not go to plan, Tencent did not make our life easy. Firstly they changed the deadline, pushing it back, which messed with our plans and we stood to loose a couple thousand dollars. Secondly they removed many of the prizes it went from 3 places in second in game design to 1 and from 5 places in third for game design to 1- that is the removal of 8 000 dollars worth of prizes.I felt that my second game could have possibly won one of these prizes and it felt totally unfair to have these prizes pulled from under my nose. All this was annoying and unprofessional but the worst was still to come. Regardless of the added competition and loss of prizes we still one big 1st in builds and games and 2 second in builds as well, that is 10 000 dollars, thats a lot of money to our group but barely anything to a huge company like tencent This is a link to the competition results http://ylands.qq.com/cp/a20180510jianzhu/prize.htm Heres to hoping they don't get changed That felt well earned after over a 1000 hours of work from us all but this was not the end. MORE THEN 62 days (+2 months later) we have not been payed a cent We kept getting told we were going to be paid by X date but it never happened. That's just one of the examples... Recently we were told we would be payed half the cash on November the 1 and the rest the nect month then they asked for yet another extension until November the 7 this has kept happening and at this point i cant trust them anymore because this could go on forever I want pressure on Tencent to pay us, 10 000 dollars is a lot to us. PAY UP TENCENT Tencent is a massive company with HUGE resources and im extremley annoyed with their unprofessional behavior, i myself contributed 80 clocked hours(in reality i worked more) to make the 1st place game, i stayed up till 2 am a couple nights because of deadlines changing, all this in between school work; Of course all my hard work for has not been rewarded.In conclusion I'm extremely unimpressed by Tencent and will never respect them as an honest company, they need to be held responsible for their actions so im making there actions transparent so everyone can see how they have been messing with us. We need to put pressure on them!
