I'm not a big builder myself, I rather enjoy Explore This is my only try at a "pretty house" that succeeded But my "best creation" has to be the one I have the most memories with. And that is my second Explore map (of only four ) that I successfully transformed from a base into my home.

I see that Blue Nude by Henri Matisse in blue no more Very cool building and not less cool penguin! I hope that he knows that although he's a bird, his flying skills aren't sufficient enough.

Joining in to wish you a happy end of the year 2018 and even better start of 2019! I play mostly just Explore so I like to see this promising future of this part of the game. ?

Doesn't matter if you celebrate the 24th of December, the 25th, or 7th of January. Maybe you even celebrate your own holidays, maybe you are just looking forward to New Year. But to all of you, may these festive days be the perfect ending of your year!

I never got used to building in there. Even after a few hours, I couldn't make a simple building.

Czech is my native language but I hope that I can get the message across in English. Not so in German. Ich kann nur leichte Sätze machen.

It feels somehow off to see Ylands like this. I'm glad that this may help the development in some way. But I hope to stumble upon as few ChinaYlands material as possible in the future.

Pangolin for sure! What about armadillos?

Insightful video from Ylands devs
Miguel Preguisa replied to RedEagle_P1.'s topic in General Discussion
This was like a really filling Dev Diary Thanks for sharing, it was really interesting! Why Early Access and why we didn't wait for a final product? I can't speak for everybody so just my bit. I find some beauty in Early Access, the more if devs are actually communicating with the players along the way. To see the game grow, advance, change. It adds one more layer to the game for me. Because it's not just the game itself, it's the process. Of many fulfilled wishes, of losing the whole save due to a bug that leaves you just in your underwear and deletes all items and blocks in the entire game, of bugs that drove you mad entire months, of final fixes of them, of new worlds created because -trust it or not- now there are caves!, of features you have to wave goodbye to (I miss you Replicator ❤), of players slowly discovering the game features because there isn't (wasn't) any gamepedia, and last but not least - of flying sharks. Try to say it doesn't sound great. Well, many of my friends did tell me that, but I still think that well done EA is an unforgettable experience. If a polished AAA game is an evening in a luxury hotel, then EA is a night hike through an unmapped forest. Which is a compliment by the way. May not sound like it. But it definitely is. -
Oh, it's Ylands for sure. I finally found enough time. There's no point in playing it just half an hour a day. But Ylands still has to share its time with another game I fell in love with - Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. It's quite old multiplayer game (2011) but there is still a lot of active players. It looks like this will be the only multiplayer game ever in which I'm going to hit the highest level possible. Can't wait! ?

A builder, a nomad and I'm... a hoarder. I pick up anything that seems nice - which is pretty much everything. I build primarily to store my belongings and even though I start building the very first day, it takes me usually more than two in-game weeks to have everything in its place

Looks cool! For how many players is it? Maybe P1 community could plan some testing event @RedEagle_P1.? If not, we could organize something here of course.

Hopping in to say hi even though all the questions have been already answered

Grid alignment problem with blueprint
Miguel Preguisa replied to Christal's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
I think they changed how is the blueprint pasted into the world. I built one today and it was perfectly fitted into the grid EDIT: And it even fits with its color/material palette to my other builds -

P1 Building Competition! #5 - The Story Build
Miguel Preguisa replied to RedEagle_P1.'s topic in Community News
I may not participate I thought I'm gonna work on it last week and no time was found... -
I just alt+tabed to say that I love the new Gold Rush map! It's really detailed, not just the town, but I was amazed by the workshops on the water, really nice job. It overall seems like a fun game to play but it would need at least five people there online at the same time If anybody's planning any Gold Rush party, let me know!

I just bought DayZ in the summer sale and it's better than I thought! Does anybody here play it? I would love to hear your stories from the game or played with you sometime later

Vicinity is will soon be here! The feature nobody talks about and I still consider a major game improvement. Also, two new pets? Maybe I will finally use my coyns, they are getting tired of sitting on the same spot since I've got them. And I can't wait what will P1 and others do with paintable trees and bushes. We want to see some fantasy forests!

P1 Building Competition! #5 - The Story Build

I'm in. And I take dibs on an alchemy shop! -
I'm sure there are more ways to make more money than to develop Ylands the way they do. I may change my mind when Canadian devil with his freemium users takes over both multiplayer and singleplayer, but that does seem far away Even though I don't play nearly as much as you all do, I'm around Ylands quite a long time now, and let me tell you, that I'm 100% certain that most (or at least some) devs actually love this game and they take it not just as job but also as a passion. All my love for the game aside, that is the truth that's not that hard to see. Just take a look at them talking about the game anywhere!

I'm not a part of P1 but I totally understand you. When you invited me to join a Ylands competition organized by Tencent I didn't even know what Tencent was. Due to some of my IRL problems I couldn't join you even though I wanted to. But I was kind of a glad after all after I got some more information about what Tencent is. Now, I'm trying to be polite in most cases and I don't use much of a harsh language at all anywhere. This is now just my opinion (but I know many of those who share this opinion with me) that's not based only on this one event. F Tencent.

Who are the best builders in the game right now?
Miguel Preguisa replied to RedEagle_P1.'s topic in General Discussion
I love that you tagged me , but you may have done it by mistake There is one Miguel The Talented builder - @ESP_Miguel And one Miguel The Talented Sloth - @Miguel Preguisa Easy to mix us up, I understand But I was the first one (by two and half years)!
