Immediately passworded rented servers are now available on the next multiplayer yland in the region map just like the unpassworded ones. Unsummoning owned ship puts the padlock, if there was one, from the helm back to owners inventory. Locking ships owned by other players with padlocks is no longer possible. Keys now fit padlocks even between travels to other ylands on the region map. It is now possible to unsummon your own ship even if another player is controlling it.

    Fixed

[YLD-28117] Tweaked: Explore: Unsummmoning ship with a padlock on the helm will remove the padlock from the helm
[YLD-28114] Fixed: Explore: now you can not use lock anything on other player's ship (or paint them or enter/exit construction mode on them)
[YLD-28111] Fixed: Explore: key lost connection to the padlock after travelling to another yland
[YLD-28039] Fixed: Explore: summon button is faded out if you unsummon it while another player is controlling the helm
[YLD-28119] Fixed: Owned exploration rented servers protected with password are now discoverable with the same priority as those without a password.

We need protection barrier system for friends

We are going to rework the whole barrier system in the next few updates ?

Thank you so much for the nice words and for your feedback ?

some way to see our friends when we are on the same map.

That would though then make the possibility of "fighting your friends" (a friendly scuffle) a bit boring, because you'd see, where they are at all times. But I will ask about it ?

  3. It could be because of a plugged-in controller. We have had problems with controllers in the past and one of them was not being able to start a new game. If you have a controller plugged in, please try it without. If you don't have a controller plugged in and it happens again, please send us your output_logs and output_logs_clean which you can find here: \Program Files(86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ylands\Ylands_Data

  4. Thank you for the feedback, and while the main focus for us now is the 'Explor(e)' in Exploration and having pretty much an unlimited choice of where to go next and what to find, we are thinking of ways of making older maps replayable. It is difficult to balance it out though with stability and longevity of the actual map, since with too much activity, the maps again begin to be unstable, but that is a problem we have to solve anyways ?

Also you shouldn’t accuse people out of the blue because we asked very clearly if we could do it and they said we can and we did.

Yes, we have allowed it, but as Aleš stated, that was a mistake on our part, because we didn't consider, what an unfair advantage this would mean.

We should've not allowed it in the first place and stuck to the rules as they were written or at least publicly (so everyone was aware) set out clear requirements for using something, that was used already in a different competition elsewhere months or years ago.
These requirements would be something in line of being able to use elements of the previously used game, but not just translating and updating an old game for the purpose of the competition.

Again we are sorry for this mistake and we will take great care not to make it again in the next competition coming soon. The first competition was for us always a testing ground for our next competitions and so at least we have learned, what works and what doesn't ?

At this point, we will not disqualify any games for the reason of them being used before, since we did allow it in a private message, but again I'd like to reiterate Aleš's point, that our judges will be looking at multiple different aspects of each game: fun-factor, game design, ease of play, replayability, aesthetics and more and while we haven't had time to play all the games yet, there are plenty of other superb games in the competition right now besides P1's (whose games are also great) so it will be a very tight competition ?

I do hope we can move past this because if anyone is at fault, it is us, for which we apologise sincerely once more.

    Stay classy Ylanders ?

If that's the case cant you add a tag to make it able to open the editor? to make it have like a (modded) tag and not able to open or if it does open to other itll let people know?

The problem is, that you can still travel from that world to a multiplayer world with Editor equipment.

oh ok..i thought that the maps would still be local and not multiplayer. I dont like playing with other people and just want to build and explore. The Legacy maps are too small for this unless it has been updated to the size of the new explore as well then there is no point of playing that. What i like to do is create a potion belt that refreshes potions via script editing while exploring and crafting, or modding boots to increase movement speed when worn, refresh charge of mining drill when in active slot, but cant do this now from what you have said. ah well

You don't have to play with others. You can just Explore Single Player islands and not open them up for Multiplayer.
