    Power limits?

I recently started experimenting with power and using it to light building interiors. A fun exercise in direct wired circuits, however I keep running into what appears to be a hard limit of 6 lights per circuit no matter how it is split or recombined. Is 6 the cap or am I missing something else?

    Power limits?

    Thanks!! Good information all.
  3. This is not a wild musing. Three times in the past week I have witnessed an unauthorized visitor to a sandbox and the updated Explorer. The sandbox is listed in the sub menu as a single player game with no provision to open it to a multiplayer. In Explorer the multiplayer cap is set to 2. Assuming the host is one of the two allowed and the invited guest is present, the cap should prevent a third player. Right? At the risk of sounding petty this unwelcome visitor is looting my resources and it is annoying. I get the pirate/combat aspect of the game and accept it in multiplayer games, however the controls are supposed to allow the creator control over population. Right? A limit of 2 means only 2 bodies not 3, 4, or more. Or did they change that in the new math too? Please help me here. Am I misunderstanding the controls and settings or is something else going on here? Spydr
  4. Yes, I have already isolated that log from the archive. Should I post it here or somewhere else?
  5. Have you noticed an offset between your focus dot and the object/action actually executed? for example: during construction; right click a block to anchor placement , then rotate and placement is wrong... using paint gun; point focus dot at specific item (object name and current color are the actual target) and instead paint an object either behind or to the side of the target in sandbox using annihilator; point focus dot at specific object and delete the object to the right
  6. I just found a name, three in fact...listed in the log file. All three were listed in my "Friends" but I do not recognize any of them. True I don't completely understand the log output text, I do understand pieces of it and if what I'm reading is what I think something is wrong. Have you ever seen the text "userUnsafeScenarioGroupData":{"userId":"938..."?
  7. I had setup passwords and have no idea if the intruders were the same person. I only saw a name twice and only actually paid attention to the one in Explorer since the sandbox is what it is. About the logs.. I know the date of one of the visits so could pull just that set of logs but I am still waiting for some kind of response to my query about the game constantly freezing. I'm locking up upwards to 8-9 times in a 4 hour session.
  8. Does anyone have an explanation for the apparent ribbon across the landscape? It waves in the wind at the end above the fuselage and is not a rigid object, I can fly through it.
  9. From the right 4 angles it spans the lagoon

    Update 1.4: Creators Club

The aiming of the crossbow specifically has NOT been improved the crosshairs are low and right of center by their by the height of the top and half of the left hairs respectively. ??? As a result of the error I am now spending 50% more bolts per kill than before the update. Spyder ikan140@yahoo.com
  11. I was afraid that would be your answer. Seems I will need to change my mining tactics and clean up more frequently. I have noticed that any resource I have touched or gathered and replaced remains where placed.
  12. I am playing a single player version of Exploration and two Sandbox in version 1.3.5.93464 on whatever server Steam chooses for my current session of game play. Within the past week I have noticed several anomalies. 1. Resources/ mining debris disappearing after a period of time. For example, a tree cut down then left in pieces overnight will not be there in the morning or the dirt and rock debris left behind after mining will not be there after a period of time as if the game is automatically cleaning up extraneous objects. Unfortunately, those objects are useful resources left behind intentionally for future use. 2. Objects disappearing during an exchange between personal inventory and either a workstation or cabinet 3. Workstations that will not release controls causing other tasks to not function. For example, not being able to pick up a log after operating a kiln because the kiln still wants to be fed. 4. Not being able to plant seeds for up to 15 seconds after using the ax. The "place" dialog greys the entire display locking all controls. 5. Loss of camera control and object placement as if the mouse is not being recognized as a game controller. I opened a ticket on 8/21/2020 (#209438) with a request for links or files to reinstall game files based on my assumption that one or more files have been corrupted. If that is the fix, I will simply reinstall the game however I am no longer convinced that simply reinstalling is the answer. I installed Ylands on July 13 of this year and have been playing daily since with a total of 396 hours of game play. The described issues above began sometime around the 300-hour mark(?) and have increased in frequency and duration until now. Issue 1 above became painfully obvious this afternoon (hour mark 395). I was able to reproduce the object loss experienced in Exploration in a sandbox several times and have included two sets of screen shots showing before and after with times included in the file name, unfortunately my machine is not capable of capturing video. I sped up time in the sandbox by sleeping overnight but the loss in Exploration is occurring over a longer period of time as I have no need to sleep on the island I am building on and work around the clock ignoring the day/night cycle. Please advise me of what the issues are or may be and how they may be halted or at least mitigated as much of the "debris” I am creating by the extensive mining is intended to become construction material and the loss of this material is at best inconvenient.
