That's an odd glitch. I had something similar happen trying to place a smelt. Wasn't a blueprint by it though. It wouldn't let me place it anywhere...then I backed out and tried to craft it again and it allowed it. Hasn't happened again for me but that one time. -
It won't affect the ship, but yeah it's tedious. You eventually get faster and better at doing it. I sometimes wish there was a better camera angle used when freeplacing. Some of it can feel like you are performing microscopic surgery if you really want an entity to be in a precise place without much overlapping texture.

Hmm something must be slightly off the grid then. did you try freeplacing them?

Was the ship in disassemble/construction mode? Sometimes it will do that if it's assembled. Other reasons could be you are too close to the actual block you are placing and/or the block needs to be rotated to line up correctly. (Press f a few times)

Became unresponsive again when I was moving from one region to another. It says the game was saved. Screen went white and windows gave me a message asking to close or wait for it to respond. I waited 5 minutes and closed it. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt -

I did this the other day inside my ship with a propeller pack. Somehow I flew straight through the ceiling and ended up outside on the roof of the ship. -
I found some huge ruins underwater. Had a statue that needed a password. found a note with a roman numeral math problem and a part of the runins with a locked door and a stone chest behind it. I am assuming the note is the password for the statue once I solve the math problem and the statue will give me the key to the door. been soo long since I used roman numerals I forgot half of it.

I know that your game has to have a password if you want your friends to join without you being there. Without the password , If the host of the game isn't there , then nobody can come in. In that case the game does not exist without the host. Technically whoever has a sharegame with a password means whoever is first on that map (with password) is the current host. So one player can start the game, invite a friend and give them the password. The friend can then come and go as he/she pleases.

Yeah I think a few other people have had their keys reset to default as well. Pretty sure they are working on a fix for it. -
It's always been this way. Doesn't surprise me since you use 2 hands to hold it.

Exploration 1.5 - Collective Suggestions

All good suggestions! (I doubt they will do the beer suggestion though. Lots of kids play the game) My own suggestions are I would still like to see craftable books and paintings. I do like the idea of more diversity in energy. there's only 2 types of ylandium engines and 4 types of coal engines. A few more models would be awesome. Also yes more ship types and car bodies. Ship types especially since a lot of people plan on living on their ships now in exploration. I also think since we can make a raft, how about a canoe? It could go a little faster than the raft. The toolbox suggestion is already in the works according to Adam, but I thought after they invented it....how about a lunchbox? Store all your food there. Another thing I would like to see is more types of traps. Right now all we got is wooden and iron spikes. How about a snare? Bring back the beartrap, maybe landmines for griefers, swinging logs with spikes hanging from trees, etc. I also think a little more diversity for animals...especially domesticated cows and chickens. (dogs and cats can maybe come later?) -

I just put all my loot in some chests this morning after the first hotfix and restarted the character (not the world). Picked up my loot and ate. It felt so good to finally eat and sleep LOL -
Thanks for the hotfixes Ylands team! I was patiently waiting for the hunger bug to get fixed. The new exploration does not disappoint!

Yes the hotfix will be hopefully later today. -
They were trying to fit the toolbox fix into this last update, however Adam informed us it should happen in the next 1.6 update. A lot of people asked about the same thing when 1.4 came out.

I think you have to start on the original spawn island, but from there you can go anywhere once you sail to the edge of the map. -

Thank goodness! I will have to wait a few days to play again because I refuse to play it while constantly starving. (It's like having an open wound you can't heal) Glad you found the problem though. -

Same happens on single player explore. I went through 20 bandages trying not to starve to death before I logged out. Can't eat a thing. It worked for a bit then suddenly stopped and says I'm not ready. I noticed the mining issue as well. Rocks floating that you cannot interact with. Included the output logs. output_log.txt output_log_clean.txt -
I use an auto clicker. All I do is hit f10 and it picks up everything in my vicinity. (I can change the hotkey to auto click) It runs smoothly alongside ylands and is a lot easier on my fingers.
