Why do we need larger maps in the new exploration? We can travel wherever we want. Our world is almost unlimited. I think that's better for performance too. Addendum: My computer has no problems with it, but I have some doubts whether the game will make it. Please also consider the players who do not have such powerful computers. I think there are more important things at the moment.

I don't know the history of Ylands. I've only been there for 3 months. So I was able to look at it without bias as it stands today and test it extensively. And - I think the game is just fantastic. What happens to ylands is mostly up to the players. The developers provide us with a platform and we have to fill them with life, with our ideas. From a technical point of view, we should actively help the developers if something doesn't work as it should. We should communicate our wishes and expectations in a friendly and appropriate manner; this is the only way they can act in our interests. We already have a wonderful game that gives us so many options. Let us enjoy it and be curious about what the future will bring us.

May I add one more wish. Is it possible that we can zoom the map (M) in the new Explorer (local world) so far that we can take a screenshot of the whole world.

RESOLVED [YLD-29951] Traders disappeared
lady_whynot replied to kimbuck's question in Bugs & Technical Issues
New explorer map Yesterday I was very proud to have a dealer on my own grocery farm. I built a small sales booth for him. He seemed satisfied. We were also able to do our first business. And what about today. I came across the map and the booth is empty. No dealer to be seen, searched the whole island, he's gone. All boats and ships and also the raft are there, he couldn't cross the water. Where has my dealer gone. I am very sad. Addendum: even my tamed animals are gone, also firestorm, my faithful white horse. Only Alberta and Gustav, my two goats are still there, possibly because they still want to be milked. And then I remember the goats were allowed to run free, so they weren't assigned to an animal enclosure. Maybe that will help. -
In principle, I think your considerations are very good, but I would still like to get rid of some concerns. As I keep reading now that the game should be made more difficult, with more fighting and attacks, today you are talking about more travel. That, too, is to be welcomed in principle. Now, however, I am one of those players who would rather have it a little more comfortable. I place a lot of value on building and designing, although I am inclined to traveling, but rather averse to fighting. It would be a shame if they couldn't trust players like that in the future. Perhaps it is possible for you to create a balance, I am thinking, for example, of trading opportunities in which one can then earn or negotiate many of these items through diligence (for example agriculture or forestry). This would add another component to the game as well. Unfortunately, today's trading system does not yet reflect this. Sorry for my bad english.
