The irony; I come back to see how cool everything is with the latest update after a few month gap and 1st person is gone.  I don't play 3rd person games so I'm hoping it comes back in!

In the meantime you can play in first person camera by using the console command "/fpscam enable" (without quotes).

  2. Hey Rob! Thanks a lot for your feedback, hope you get to do it more often! :)

Seems like you're having the same issue as bumaks here (scroll down for the shelves part):

We're looking into it, but we're having trouble reproducing the issue. Could you send us the scenario where you're having difficulties?

@Ane sorry but I already try 5 times to publish the post no matter how many images you put, all the time you tell me I need a moderator review, I do not understand what is happening so please solve this when you can.

It just means that your post has to be approved first, no need to post several times :) You should be good now!

About the cabinet with shelves. I just tried to do it. It is not possible to get objects from the shelves, including from the closet I have installed now. Of all cabinets where there are shelves. It seems to me that the physical model of the cabinet has ceased to consider the shelves. And when I put an object on the shelf, the game considers that I put it inside the cabinet texture.

We'll check it out, thanks! Also the thing about the key.

  5. We'd like to have an offline mode eventually, but it is not planned to happen before leaving Early Access.

Regarding the error you're getting, can you please send us the following files? output_log and output_log_clean, you can find them in the directory \Program Files(86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ylands\Ylands_Data

A vivid example of this is the log falling almost underground from felled trees! Previously, they lay above the ground plane.

This should be fixed after yesterday's update.

Regarding the placing on the walls, is it happening with any item in particular? At least a part of the freeplaced item has to intersect the wall, otherwise it can fall down. Can you try if it works this way for you?
