Good to know, I wasn't quite sure if it was meant to be that way or not as it was the first Yland I'd found without a cave system (apart from the spawn Yland of course)

Yup, it seems that the brightness stacks. So the more things emitting light, the brighter it becomes! I noticed this with the cave crystals. Drop a whole stack and it's insanely bright, makes for a good way to create super bright waypoint markers.
Also agree that the scuba mask lights are pathetic and its way too dark underwater. I also think the helmet lights are too dim in caves as well.- 1

What is with these recurring crashes that roll back your progress but mess up the loot and contents of chests/inventories. I've had it multiple times now where I've lost so much harvested/cooked food because the world has been rolled back after a crash and those items have gone but so have the raw ingredients that were in the chests so I can't even remake them. I'm just glad it hasn't been as serious as what you've experienced yet!

Just had another crash whilst sailing. Just started sailing and was turning to head to the map border and it crashes.
No new crash log in the Local\Temp\BohemiaInteractive\Ylands\Crashes folder unfortunately.

I've been encountering these weird bugs where I lose progress after exiting my Exploration game to the main menu and then reentering it again.
This latest time I had just finished fishing, I had caught a stack of 20 plus a stack of 7 and had then put it in the stove and campfire to cook then exited out to Main Menu. Upon reentering the game a couple of minutes later my food had disappeared from the stove and camp fires but there was a pile of 5 fish on the ground where I had been standing when I was fishing. I'm pretty sure I experienced this before and posted my logs there too. Not sure if these two instances are related. I've attached the logs from before and after restarting the game in case that makes a difference.- 1

Yes that's true, I think they must only be in random encounters now which is a shame since you can't get seed and grow more. These are 2 other encounters from an older version that may or may not be still in the game.

Didn't even see that Day Duration option! My bad. Would still be good if there was the option for infinite day or night as well though.

I believe they mean any Surface Mushroom (including Truffles) but then it does seem a bit strange that Glowing Mushrooms are included as an acceptable ingredient. Considering they are technically also a Cave Mushroom and now that I think about it, haven't they been removed from caves in Explore anyway? I don't think I've found any recently.

I've attached a crash log for my game but I can't remember when it occurred or if it's related to this issue here which I have encountered before. There is a chance it may have been either from exiting exploration to main menu or possibly the random mid game freeze up. Hopefully it helps.

Did you hit the Delete World Progress button in the settings/options by mistake? This would have completely deleted your old world/map and started you on a new one with your inventory (and ship) intact.

Seeing as my question in the General section didn't get any hits I figured it meant it isn't a current feature of the game anymore so I'll post it in the Suggestions thread.
Can we please get commands back in Sandbox mode? Especially those relating to setting time and weather.
Also, the ability to modify the Yland on creation so we can set the Tier and the day length etc.- 1

Probably was made this way so that you can only find certain things through random encounters making them more special

I have also been having similar issues with the game becoming unresponsive after exiting exploration back to the main menu. As well as the occasional freeze mid game.

Can anyone confirm or deny 100% that there is clay on Tier 3 Ylands?
From the two Tier 3 Ylands I've encountered so far there has been none on the surface or in the caves. I've only found iron and sulphur on the surface of a Tier 3.
Also, I assume that the Polar Desert Ylands never have surface ores present? -
From what I recall, after update 0.6 (16/11/2017) and the introduction of Coyns, many tools and weapons were removed and turned into skins which could be purchased with said Coyns.
This was then changed again with update 0.15.1 (28/11/2019) where they removed all of the skins from the game and everyone's Coyns were refunded.
I am not sure if they added all of those items that were turned into skins back into the base exploration game, I think they only returned in Sandbox & Editor.
On a side-note, the Superior Flintlock Pistol is available in the Creator Cube but appears to have lower stats (50-56 piercing damage) than the regular Flintlock Pistol (75-95) which seems odd. -
Wondering if it is possible to set the Tier (0, 1, 2, or 3) of a newly generated Yland in Sandbox mode? The default seems to be Tier 1 but I can't find a setting to change this.
Also, were the commands to change the time removed? I definitely remember using /daydur and /sethour for this. Is there not one for turning off rain now either?

Yes I could and yours are much more up to date than mine. I'll try upload them as separate folders so they aren't so large, maybe that will help?

@ocnoglittle That's weird, as I can download it from my own comment just fine. I will try upload it again anyway but it takes at least 10 minutes as I have bad internet ughh

Game crashed while quickly shifting items out of herb bag into main inventory using right-click.
Upon restart, the game had been rolled back 5-10 minutes and back before I had gathered corn from around the island and then planted almost 100 corn seeds as well as placing several wicker baskets. -
I suggested a low range option back when vehicles were first introduced so that we can cruise in 4WD around the rough terrain. I don't necessarily want to go from 0 to 100 instantly lol
