For now we mostly have the very basic skin tones and only a very few "original" hair colors. Since we have access to a very detailed color picker later ingame to colorize what we want as we want, why not use the same detailed color picker for the creation of avatars? That would allow for an infinite combination of variations fitting any taste, instead of only being able to be "normal" looking. Thanks for considering, and possibly UpVoting and Voting... =)
