DEV ANSWER progress loss in official server

My friend and I play on the EXPLORE EU 28 official server and we made some progress. The next day when I wanted to continue the game in the same server, I click on CONTINUE in the main menu of the game. It then listed the EXPLORE EU 28 server as unavailable. Clicking on it was no use. It looks like the server deletes the progress after a cetain amount of time. Please let me know if this is a bug or the way the game's multiplayer is.

There was an issue with the server during the reset which took place for 0.6.3. Some servers that host persistent Explore games were resetting them periodically since. It will be fixed now.
